If this is the best chinese place around, I feel sorry for the people of Port Jervis. While the food was ready for take-out pretty fast, it was obvious when I got there that take-out is the only way to go. Dingy old furniture and bad lighting, with dirty corners all around. When I got the food back home to eat, I was treated to 2 surprises. First that the egg rolls were pretty great despite their looks, and second that all of the chicken I ordered was actually tofu. As they were putting it in the bag at the shop, I saw the chicken being served out of one large container, so I assume ALL of the chicken they serve is actually tofu. I like that some places have that option, but this is the second place in the area where tofu was just automatically put in place of chicken, without my asking or choice.

Upon ordering for delivery I instructed the person at the restaurant to have the driver bring enough money to have change for a 50. I told him twice and made him repeat to me change for 50. The driver showed up 1 hr later ( I live less than 3 min away) and said he had only 30 dollars. My Bill was 13. The delivery guy tried to have me tip him 7 dollars. I said no and called the restaurant. A lady picked up my call and argued with me as if I was in the wrong. Who cares about the food, good or bad these people dont deserve my money and apparently they dont want it either. Try any other place besides this one.

ROBBED! just ordered $25 worth of food with a credit card. it never showed up. and was 5 mins past closing once we realized it was a hour late. we never got a refund and are still hungry.... no other place iv ever ordered from EVER EVER has tried to pull this. order with care. or pick it up yourself..... and ask where they buy there eel from.... or dont.

Surprisingly good takeout Chinese restaurant. The food is delicious, noodles are not overcooked, and vegetables are fresh, unlike at many other takeouts. Also staff is very polite and helpful. Food quality is akin to what you would get at a good restaurant in Chinatown, but interior is rather simple.

I tried all three Chinese food places in the area and Ming Moon is the only one that had good food! I tried good friends 3 times and was disappointing every time and Peking Garden twice and was disappointing both times but Ming Moon i have had at least 15 times and was never disappointed!

Pros : Fast service, friendly staff (they remember my face, even though Im hardly ever there), and delicious. Cons : None that Ive had. Other : The staff are friendly, and easy to get along with. I honestly can say that this is much better than the other local chinese restaurants :)

We never go anywhere else for Chinese take out. Very friendly and very willing to help with special requests. Because of this we always try to give a little bigger tip than the norm. They appreciate that and give us a little extra something each time in return.

First... Its CLEAN. Second... its Chinese like you would get in Chinatown in NYC.. not like your generic places you get in every town. Great lunch combos for the price.
