Horrible Restaurant This is how our experience goes. Sunday evening we decided to have Indian food nearby and unluckily we selected this hotel. We gave an order over phone for chicken 65, Chicken Biryani and Chicken curry. We went there to pick up , but were surprised to no one inside restaurant, except Vivek (the man who took order) was preparing our order in the kitchen. It is totally one man army. We got our order after 45 mins, which is too long wait period for the order we gave, but understand as it is one man show. After paying for the food, Vivek told that this hotel was opened in 2014, but has not picked up since 2 years. This gave a question, how this is guy surviving without a business for 2 years and was sure this won’t pick up even after 2 years. The real story started when we started eating the rotten food. As we were hungry, though the chicken 65 was hard, we ate it, but when we opened chicken biryani, the rice was not fully cooked (you could see the raw rice inside) and the chicken was so hard, to bite (same with chicken curry). We immediately called Vivek to share our experience, but over phone he said, next time we will adjust, sorry. I went next day (Monday) at 6 PM to show him the food, but he had closed for the weekly holiday. I again went on Tuesday at 7 PM, as usual he was the only guy inside restaurant. I kept the bag on the table, and he pretended as if he did not recognize me and asked what is in the bag. I explained him the whole story and mentioned this is not an edible food and also, showed him the half cooked rice. He bluntly told me, take that away and he can’t do anything. This hurt me as a customer. Despite telling him this is not a good customer service, he should have at least acknowledged his mistake and should have said will provide better service next time. He was stern in his voice and said, I won’t return money. Serving half cooked food is not good for health. So please do not encourage such restaurants. Red Flag Raised. I would want to give it a minus four rating. If you still wanna go here, you are free to do charity.

Please avoid this restaurant at all costs. We went there for dinner on a Saturday and there was no other customer at the place. That was our first red flag. We decided to give it a try anyhow. There was only one employee at the restaurant. He took our order. We ordered a onion uthappam, egg kothuparatta and poori. He went inside and started making the food. In the meantime, another family came and sat at a table. They were not attended as he was in the kitchen. The onion uthappam came and it smelled like old batter smell immediately. It also didnt look like onion uthappam as the onion was mixed into the batter and not put on top. The coconut chutney came with the uthappam had a really nasty smell. It was very evident that the food was stale and probably expired. The kothuparatta was delivered next. It came in a small kadai and we could immediately spot several hair on top. I am not making this up, but, it looked as if it was garnished with hair. We told him that we cant eat this food and left. I wont be surprised if someone gets food poisoned here. We were seriously concerned as our 5 year old wanted to taste the uthappam.

For the first time we went here for lunch with friends and family. The lunch buffet was really decent and taste was awesome. We all got impressed by the food which was like home - made n with authentic South Indian taste tat too for a reasonable price. Two weeks later we planned to celebrate my sons birthday here. We were allowed to customize the buffet items to our liking. On the day the place was elegantly decorated. All the items in the lunch buffet were cooked with great care. The guest all were happy with the food which tasted so good n home - like. The owner and staff are very friendly. They charged us really fair for the whole thing. All I can say is kind people, decent place n great home - like food.

Easily the best Indian food I have been able to find in New Jersey. Very receptive to customer needs (I went with people who cannot handle anything but the mildest of spices and the owner went out of his way to make sure they would be comfortable) and the care was top notch. Pricing was not only affordable but a steal for the amount of food we got. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something new to try.

we have been to this restaurant yday for dinner on valentine day. we ordered few starters which includes my wifes favorite chicken lolly pop which is ultimate. my daughter liked the chicken briyani very much. they have very good lunch buffet will plan for next week. We really enjoyed the food yday night.. i recommend this restaurant.

Went out of my way to pick up a quick lunch from Urusi. Door was locked and lights were off inside. Got Chinese take out next door and asked if Urusi is closed now. Apparently, they are "sometimes open and sometimes closed". Doubt Ill come back, because when its lunch time "I always lunch "

this place is good, sometimes inconsistent. IF THEYRE OPEN Ordered last week on grubhub, they were closed, went to pick it up and a sign said they were closed all week. Today, two weeks later, they are closed at 2 on a Saturday. Kind of annoying.

Very good authentic south indian taste, briyani was fantastic, lollipop chicken is the best you can find, very good service, i went for dinner so i did not get to try the buffet but planning to return next weekend.
