Ill start off by saying the place does look good inside. The service, though, was terrible. I was here for an event a few days ago and went to use the restroom. On the way out, a friend was coming in and the door hit my hand by accident. Should be no big deal right? It wouldnt be, except there was somehow a sharp metal edge on the door handle somewhere that cut my knuckle somewhat deeply and caused it to start bleeding! I stayed in the bathroom and kept my hand under water to wash off the blood. I must have been in there for at least 15 minutes, but it would just not stop bleeding. Eventually a staff member came to use the restroom and I asked if he could track down some bandages. He gave me an apathetic "ok" and left. A couple minutes after, the friend who had hit me had tracked down the manager and came back with bandages. A few minutes after this, the staff member came back and said "oh sorry, I asked the manager we dont have bandages" - a flat out lie considering my friend JUST got me some from the manager. By that point, my hand had still not stopped bleeding, and I had used the 3 paper napkins that were left in the bathroom to try and make it stop, so I asked the staff member to get more napkins. He soon came back and claimed there were no more of those either, and told me I should use toilet paper (obviously since the bleeding had not stopped, the toilet paper would dissolve on my fresh cut, so this was a terrible idea). I eventually just kept the napkin I had on there and went back to the party. What do I see on the dining tables but the same napkins I had asked for, which they were "out of", so another lie. I had to eventually ask a friend to get food and ate with my left hand because my right hand was pressed against the table with a napkin so it wouldnt bleed all over the place. I couldnt join friends on the dance floor because I had a napkin pressed to my hand and it would look ridiculous. Another thing I noticed: somebody had spilled something on the floor next to the food station, and I almost slipped on it twice (didnt remember it was there the 2nd time). This was over the course of at least 15 minutes. Someone could very easily have slipped and fell. TL;DR: the place is in such disrepair that the door handle mechanism cut my hand. See pic below - this is after 2 days, thats how badly I was cut from a freaking door handle. Staff member was rude and unhelpful, and flat out lied to me 2 times. Will never return if I can avoid it, and will actively dissuade friends from renting this place if asked. I hope it goes out of business so competent people can utilize the location more effectively.

I wish there is an option for ZERO or NEGATIVE stars, but no option but to give 1 star rating. The place and hall are good and neat, but I absolutely hated the way treatment was given to me(host) after I signed the contract. I dont recommend this place to anyone and please dont fall for the look of the place. 1) To get business they talk sweetly before signing the contract and once you sign I tried for 2 weeks and not able to talk to the person who signed me up and never returned a call back as promised by other staff. So I had no option on discussing the menu the way i wanted. During contract he did not want to discuss the menu saying I can email menu 10 days before the event. Ultimately they ditched me on the food. Food quality is VERY VERY POOR. Hyderabadi dum biryani had no chicken at all. I am not making this up, trust me there was a huge party bowl of biryani with guests not able to find any chicken in that at all. It was ~140 guests and looks like they used half whole chicken to make this biryani. 2)We requested mixed chapati/paratha etc,but they gave Naan which is as hard as a rock. 3)For any request(humble request), they pointed me to the contract and said pay extra for everything. 3)Even for decoration we saw many people have used push pins for banners etc. but they warned me to charge $500 if i use push pins. They showed me the contract to warn about this while the event is starting. 4)The event manger at the end of the party ASKED and took the tips saying there are 7 people. I gave $120 and later the lead server came and started to ask and when i said i gave to the event manger, he said you should have given it to me and he said they are 6 people in total. So looks like the tips may not be going to the actual people to whom it needs to go. 8)THey pushed our guests from the table saying tey hae to clean which is odd and I have the event upto 4pm. 9)Channa masala was not good at all. 10) And apart from this they want all dues be cleared 2 days before the event(which seemed very odd and all the restaurants where I had an event do collect the dues after the event). I had already paid 25% during the contract signing. So all this says money is more important then satisfying the host and guests. Please DONT fall for the look of the place. Ultimately your guests should be happy.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. my fiancé and I booked our engagement party here back in December 2016- 4 MONTHS BEFORE OUR EVENT. Fast forward to march 2017 and the day of the event.. the decorators called me to tell me their staff went to the hall to set up but deewans staff denied them entry into the hall because "THERE IS NO EVENT BOOKED UNDER YOURS OR YOUR FIANCES NAME". How is that possible? We just PAID THE OWNER IN FULL 72 HOURS AGO. We went over all of our details- menu, table cloth, napkin color preferences, final guest count less than a week ago. Our family members who came early to help set up at the hall were ALSO told there was no event in our name today and that they now had to do LAST MINUTE ADJUSTMENTS to fit us in?! Imagine just an hour before your event begins, months of planning, family and friends that have flown from across the country to be here, your getting ready and your told there is NO EVENT TODAY WHEN YOU JUST PAID THE OWNER IN FULL LITERALLY 72 HOURS AGO. The LED lights were the wrong colors.. they smushed the tables together so that no one could even walk in between them (dont know why.. the hall was big enough to spread the tables apart). They did NOT light up the candles on the table centerpieces that we paid $50 a piece for.. oh and the cake that we spent over $400 on they chopped it up in CHUNKS and put it on the back table where no body would see it .. no plates or nothing next to it. Most of our guests didnt even get a slice. I was really hoping our engagement here would go well as we were interested in having them host our wedding but thank God this wasnt our wedding. When I called Deewan a few days later to settle this out and find out what really happened and why, the owner said he would speak to the manager and find out what happened and he wanted me to find out the name of the exact staff member who told us we had no event.. UMM WHEN YOUR DECORATOR CALLS YOU AND ASKS WHATS GOING ON.. that means more than one staff member was involved.. finding the exact name of who said what is impossible. Needless to say THE OWNER NEVER CALLED ME BACK.
