I go to Darby Road for lunch weekly and I grab drinks with friends at least weekly in the summer. Jamie keeps the traps fresh with new IPAs, stouts and seasonals for every palate. The burgers are tasty with great variations like the Jersey burger with taylor ham and an egg on top. I have some dietary restrictions and they accommodate quite well. The specials like the triple pig burger and the fresh whole red snapper keep the pub menu unique. Katie and the bar crew are first rate. Good beer pours and lines are always clean. Its a local go-to spot for drinks with friends, dinner, or for a quick lunch during the week.

Darby road is the hottest place in town! Everyone from of the spf community goes there during not only weekends, but during the work week. Very popular and always crowded. The restaurant gives off good "homey" vibes and everybody is happy and they all know each other as well. Their hamburgers are out of this world and are pretty big. There is a bar, but its sort of separate from the dining area (off to the side) yet its still fine for families to bring their children to eat there, and they all do already.

This is my go-to place when I just want a quiet drink. It doesnt get as rowdy and crowded as often as some of the other local bars. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because I wish theyd expand the bar a bit. The bartenders are great, but when it gets busy sometimes it can be tough to get up to the bar and get a drink. Food is delicious. Parking is always available in the Police Station lot.

We love this place. The food is great, the beer selection is great, and the atmosphere is great too. Great place to go and catch a soccer game and they also show all of the football games too. Be sure to make it to the St Pattys festival. Darby definitely caters to a range of ages and interests!

Great place with a nice relaxed atmosphere. We enjoy coming here to enjoy an excellent meal and well served drinks. This is a really awesome addition to the Scotch Plains area!! We like it so much, we did a private party here as well. They did a great job!

Had a party there in the main dining area. It was very clean, well decorated and cozy for my 40 guests. The food was very good, especially the pumpkin dessert bars, which could make their own business. The staff was more than accommodating and professional.

I was just charged twenty dollars for eggs, ham, tomato and black pudding with three dollar cup of mediocre coffee. When I brought this to the managers attention, I got all kinds of grief . Finally got singe if it taken off but still ridiculous

What a great addition to downtown Scotch Plains. Great food and a wonderful staff make Darby road a great spot for a family dinner or quiet evening with your spouse. wonderful menu and a killer dessert list...if you have room.

I had the chicken and waffles for lunch and they were terrific!! The chicken was moist and perfectly fried and the waffles were light and fluffy! Extremely kid friendly so bring the family. Cant wait to go back.
