The restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere, but the staff still seem a little green. It took about 20 minutes to get our drink orders after we were seated, which portended an evening of exceedingly slow service. My whiskey sour was good and dry, and the selection of food and drink makes me want to come back anyway and try it all. The food was very good, but honestly, the Decadence burger I ordered was nothing to write home about, despite the rich selection of ingredients (e.g., foie gras, and truffles). The bruschetta appetizer was absolutely excellent, albeit a bit unorthodox. Portions are on the small side, so be sure to order an appetizer for each person. All-in-all, very tempting choices, prepared competently, but the staff is still green. Give it a few weeks and Im sure it will be operating more smoothly. This restaurant opened on February 24th, 2015 and I visited on March 7th.

This bar has always been the go-to place for me and my friends. The bartenders are great and the selection is extensive. But, last night was the thing that put me over the edge into the "good enough to leave a yelp review" territory. There is an area of the bar where a patron can sit and see the bartenders working and what they are doing behind the bar. I happened to notice that the bartender, Steve, took the time to cut up a beer six pack ring before putting it in the garbage. Not many people do this, and not many people realize that this is very bad for wildlife who can get their heads caught up in the plastic rings. The fact that he did this, on a busy Saturday night, indicates to me that the establishment cares about hiring attentive, conscientious staff who are both friendly and engaged in the world. This is a huge draw and I appreciate everything about this establishment.

I highly suspect a lot of the positive reviews are from the restaurant owner, his staff, and friends. The hype in the reviews set the expectations quite high--literally our whole party of approximately 10-12 people left disappointed. The wait time for your food and drinks is absolutely unacceptable--unreal, actually. Everyone hypes the burger here--its super small and super mediocre. The grilled cheese is essentially grilled toast--there is visibly no cheese in it, and this was the case on many peoples sandwiches. And the truffle fries everyone also hyped were literally nothing to talk about. Cocktails were super bland, also. Theres nothing outstanding about this place. None of the people at our party will be returning, including myself.

Visited this New Brunswick restaurant on Friday night. Pros: Modern attractive look, Great food, huge whisky selection, for me a big plus, friendly staff. Cons: There was an unidentified piece of something in my drink. Had to return it, had to wait long time for drinks reordered. Sever took the drinks from the table before we were done. The place is definitely worth trying if you are in the area. I personally wont go out of my way to go back.

My fiancé (who lives in California) and I had lunch here and we were very pleased with the entire place. The food was excellent , the staff was friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant and the drinks were rather tasty. Although we have yet to have dinner there, I am looking forward to see what the nightlife is like. This restaurant is a good look for downtown New Brunswick!

Looks modern and young. Speedy and attentive service which was great. Took advantage of happy hour with a few whiskey sours and beers (the group, not just me). Had never heard of Pickle Backs. Try it. You might like it. Ordered a selection of small plates to share which were excellent. Oh and they have the almost obligatory free Wi-Fi which was nice.

We were exceptionally happy with our visit to INC. We ordered the Steak Tartare and Duck Hearts for appetizers. For dinner the Pork Tacos and the Tomato and Poppy Seed Rigatelli. All was delicious but the tartare was one of the best Ive ever had (and I try it where ever it is served). The drink choices were fun and different. Highly recommended!

Such an amazing evening. The food was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was very pleasing and made for a great date night. The servics was also very good, our waiter offered recommendations that were on point. I highly recommend this place, for either a romantic evening, a business engagement, or casual night out as they do have a whisky bar.

Went for a third time and left quite impressed. Stuck to just small plates this time. Many restaurants use the concept of tapas to rip you off but INC is not one of them. Tennesciutto plate was delicious and the chocolate desert in the end left me wanting more. Bourbon selection is probably the best Ive seen in the area.

Excellent space - both modern and contemporary. Great Whisky menu. We didnt try the food. Some of specialty drinks were served in a glass with ice frozen to the side of the old fashioned glass keeping the drink wonderfully cold but reducing the drinks size. The bathrooms were clean and modern.

We went out for a middle of the week date night and had a fantastic time. It turns out whiskey drinks are half priced on Wednesday so we started with cocktails and split the Steak Tartare, which was fantastic. Our entrees were also very good, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

I love the perfect portions that INC provides. They call their dinners Large Plates. but they are the perfect portion size for what someone should be eating. The food does not consume your plate. The staff is always happy and upbeat. I enjoy coming to this restaurant.

Not only do these guys make some of the best tacos in NJ - but theyre always expanding their menu so you can keep coming back and trying new, inventive food. Their whiskey menu is expansive and their bartenders are top notch. Worth every penny!

Great atmosphere with great selection of drinks. I stick to my old fashion and it seems to hit the spot every-time. There are some genuinely nice people that work here who might be busy at times but they will do their best to help you.

Excellent food! I order the steak house burger med-rare, it was cooked perfectly. And my Levander mixed drink was very tasty. The staff was also friendly. Our server was named Alex, I would recommend him to anyone.

The staff is well trained and very friendly. The food is outstanding, I would recommend the pork belly soup, the pad Thai and the macaroons .
