I visit this bakery when Im buying sweets for coworkers. Ive tried some of theyre baked goods as well and theyre are an excellent bakery. My ONLY problem whenever I go is the service. I always deal with the same woman who seems to always have a poor disposition towards me whenever I shop in there. She never greets me, never thanks me for shopping at the bakery, always seems annoyed when I ask the UNLISTED prices of some items. Shes been like that since the first day of me shopping there. Poor customer service is inexcusable. And every time I go in the morning I always hope someone more pleasant is working. Other than I like the place.

When this bakery reopened I knew they would have a tough time hitting the level of quality I was used to from the former proprietors. Luckily they succeeded very nicely, although I do miss the prior owners who were a nice bunch, as are the current owners! Luckily for Sayreville this bakery remains and I also realized, like those posting reviews before me, it is strange how you take these places for granted. So glad we still have them, they are great!

Twice now I have forgetten to order a cake from Royal and had to call them at the last minute before an event and both times they were happy to accomodate me. Their cakes are delicious and they will bend over backwards to make sure you get what you want, when you need it.

I ordered a half of sheet strawberry shortcake to serve fifty people. I was amazed how great the cake presented and everyone loved it. Royal Bakery did a fantastic job. Id give them a 10 for a great job and great presentation. They were not shy on the strawberries.

Donuts were delicious, as were the cookies. The cheesecake was like nothing Id ever eaten before, so light and airy and not dense. Everything was excellent, the prices are a steal for the quality, and the woman behind the counter was so helpful and sweet!

Great place. I ordered a cake for my daughters 16 th birthday. Cake was custom made as requested and beautifully decorated. Many of my guest s were asking me where we got the cake from. Traditional place. Good service. Dedicated Employees. Thanks.
