what has happened to this place? the food here used to be amazing, and done to perfection every time for about the first three years of them opening. i was a weekly customer for dinner than i noticed the food wasnt coming out as good as it did before, however it was still edible. i stopped going the last five years but figured id go back there last sunday for dinner with my family, and give it another try. i ordered the seafood special with pasta. words cannot convey this meal. it was almost as if a five year old made the meal and just decided to have fun adding a lot of water. the lobster was bad. the flavor was so bad that when i took a bite of it i started to dry heave. it was the most disgusting meal ive ever had in my life. there were four pasta dishes ordered and every pasta dish was extremely watery and tasteless. there was also a chicken special, that too was extremely tasteless, other than the overpowering hot peppers. the calamari was very thick and rubbery, and was extremely fishy tasting, equally as horrible as the meal. i am so disappointed. its ashame that this place has diminished the way it has. i do not suggest anyone go there unless youre going for the bread and drinks only. the bread is still amazing..

We were seated at a table with a visibly dirty table cloth in multiple spots. The wine list, though decent, was very overpriced. Two menu items were unavailable. The menu just didn’t make sense. It screamed, "Were trying to cut corners and save money here." Traditional dishes arrived with unusual preparations and flavor profiles. Seemed as if there was not a professional chef leading the kitchen. One dish arrived incorrectly prepared. Restrooms were dirty and my partner commented that the mens room smelled "like a cat litter box". There was blood on the floor in the ladies room. Desserts were the standout of the night. Both were amazing but the waitress revealed that they were not made in house. Decor needs a redux. Overall, this restaurant was very overpriced for the quality of the food. A man came over to ask about the desserts but it was unclear as to who he was because he did not introduce himself. Waitress had the nerve to complain about her tip before we left. Nothing to do with Sussex County because both Krave and Dres a 1/4 mile away are brilliant and inspired.

Havent been here in years and went back last night for our wedding anniversary dinner. Ordered the Mozzarella en Carrozza & Calamari Lucia for appetizers. The calamari was slightly over cooked, but the flavor was so amazing, you could barely tell. I ordered the Gamberi Vesuvius for my entree, it was fabulous. The rice was even cooked perfectly. The shrimp were big and flavorful. My husband ordered the Beef Tournados & Shrimp, the beef was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was almost like cutting butter, it was one of the best filets hes ever had. We ordered dessert even though we could barely fit it, from the huge portions of dinner. The peanut butter mousse cake was amazing!! (you will have to LOVE peanut better to enjoy this though) and the canolli was sweet and huge! Our waitress was so sweet and checked on us, the perfect amount, wasnt in our face constantly and wasnt forgetting about us either. We are so happy we finally got back there, and will continue to go back more ofter

I usually love this place, but tonight was a big disappointment. Service was not good, the sever we had didnt tell us there were specials, he didnt give us bread and didnt fill our drinks until we flagged him down. My husband asked for something other than the balsamic vinegar on the salad, we were told a slight extra charge, which turned out to be $1.50 for a tiny little cup and my husband said it was horrible and only vinegar. The food was okay, we would have enjoyed it more if the service was better. I dont think we will go back. If Tuscany is reading this, are you kidding me, $1.50 up charge on dressing. You will lose locals this way.

Heres my list: Wobbly table (very annoying) Seated in the bar area even with a reservation (way too close with people standing over us and too loud to talk!!) OVERCOOKED chicken and shrimp dish with no flavor (had to request a steak knife to cut my chicken but then decided it wasnt worth eating:( Waitress never offered coffee (it was my fathers birthday and he always has coffee... too late by the time we could request it) Owner decided not to come out from back to discuss my concerns. $270 spent for 6 people. Would have rather gone to Lafayette Pub where we usually go... next time we will.

Veal Rollitini in demi glaise was tough, dry and overwhelmed in an abundance of sweet sauce. Pasta was overcooked and likewise over sauced. The main dishes were brought to the table while the salad was still being eaten, and the manager who brought them had the nerve to say "I hate to rush you." to which the response was "But you are." He then took the dish away only to bring it back a minute later. Maybe up in Newton this is considered a decent dining option but in Morris County it wouldnt survive.

Have been there on a couple occassions. We thought food was good but service wasnt. Went back one last time to give it another try. The bar section booths were taken and the bar was full. Of the three tables crammed in the bar section, two of those were taken. The rest of the place was empty yet they sat us at this tiny cramped table. The server had an attitude when they saw our displeasure. We just left never again to return. No one cared.

Excellant service from the get go. Quick table seating but if you go at peak dining times a reservation is recommended for more then 2 people. A decent wine and alcohol list. There food is superb. I recommend the mozzarella encarosa and the Tuscany salad for apps. Main meals are rich and good portioned. Deserts are great I recommend the toasted almond cake.

Right from walking in we were greeted by a tall, friendly host and sat promptly even though the place was packed. The food was awesome, we ordered the specials. The oysters were great and fresh, as was the salmon. Service was friendly and professional. Well be back.

Well prepared delicious, fresh Italian food! Our favorite restaurant. Well worth the 1/2 hour drive. Friendly staff and nice portions. Went for my birthday and they all took great care of us. Nice family atmosphere! Cant wait to go back!

Easily the best Italian food in the county. Good service. Reasonable pricing. Good beer and wine selection. The sangria is delicious. I never leave there disappointed.

Large portions with great flavor really worth the money. Far better than Milanos or Portifinos. Absolutely the best in the area.
