Now I have never given a one star review before and I didnt think I ever felt the needed to but my experience at this Popeyes location was not a good one at all. So my initial impression of the place was that it looked clean and there was no physical issues and i liked what I saw. However, the first problem arose when I was waiting in line. When I got there I was second place in line. There was someone in front of me who was ordering and was taking an exceptionally long time, but there was another register not being used. I saw a worker who didnt look like they were doing anything which could have helped because a big line formed. After waiting 10-15 minutes as the second person in line I finally get up to the register. I asked about whether or not they serve Halal chicken at this Popeyes because I know some Popeyes that do. The cashier didnt know what "halal" was so she called over the manager and the manager told me they didnt. Which is entirely okay, just thought Id ask. Im a bit surprised though that this Popeyes is not capitalizing on the huge Muslim population in New Brunswick, I know a lot of people who would appreciate that and buy halal Popeyes fried chicken. But oh well. But anyways, I then asked if I could some small Cajun fries for carry out and the cashier woman put the order in and said itll be 3 minutes because they had to make a new batch of small fries. I was perfectly okay with that and so I waited in front of the counter. Im okay waiting a few minutes for fresh fries. So heres problem number 2. I had to waited 15-20 minutes for small fries. Now mind you, from the front of the counter I could see the fries in the tray once they were made. They were there around the three minute wait time I was told. However, instead of immediately giving me my order they prepared the 4 customers that ordered after me and all of them had Cajun fries!! All I wanted were small Cajun fries but I was forced to wait because they didnt prioritize my order even though I came first. Eventually the lady looked at me and somehow remembered that I never got my fries and then told the manager I never got them. Then, problem number 3. So the cashier girl grabs a handful of fries and puts it in a to-go bag. Im aware I ordered a small but this wasnt a small it was like a super super small. Now when I say handful, it was a handful. All the other Popeyes I go to always give me a good amount but no not here, she gave me a tiny amount. To sum everything up, I was not happy with how they did things at this Popeyes. I essentially wasted more than 45 minutes just for a order of small Cajun fries...Im not planning to come here again.

The food and service is good here however the cleanliness isnt that great and the seating arrangement is just weird. Prob wouldnt go here again but if you really like fried chicken go ahead.

Probably the worst Popeyes Ive been to. Waited 10 minutes for 2 pieces of chicken and fries that were already made.

The cashier completely ignored us for a couple minutes and stared off into space while yawning.

Strange lightning, it feels kinda dark, empty, and lonely inside. The food is not bad though.
