The bartender / night manager on duty the evening of Sunday July 9th was extremely rude from the minute we sat down. She replied with mean sarcasm to every question we asked and totally ignored us the entire evening. I had to ask her to pay the bill and noticed that after she swiped my card at the register she walked to the other end of the bar and threw my credit card in the trash. I walked to the other side of the bar to confront her and asked "where is my credit card". She said with a snark, "I dont have it, your good to go". I told her she did have it and that I followed my card to this other end of the bar. She then pulled my card out of the trash and then said with a grin "is your name Steve?" She then handed me the card. The bill only said $13.90 and I said she undercharged us since we also ate food. She angrily said "read the itemized receipt !" I did that and I kept saying items were missing. She angrily kept saying "read the receipt". We never had angry words with this female bartender, never complained about drinks, food, or service so dont understand why we were treated this rudely from the very moment we sat down. I asked your greeter to see the manager and she said the bartender was the "night manager". I also explained to your greeter about my card being placed in the trash and the bartenders terrible attitude toward customers. You picked the wrong person to represent your business.

My expectations werent exceedingly high when I decided to go to Harvest Moon for lunch. The exterior is rather drab. Also, Ive been to enough similar looking places to temper my expectations. But, I was pleasantly surprised by the beer and food. My really enjoyed the Belgian witbier and my wife liked their amber ale. Their fruit flavored sour beers were pretty good as well. What really surprised us was the food. We first ordered the hummus platter. Often hummus at restaurants is soaked in oil. Therefore, we asked the friendly bartender to hold the oil. The kitchen obliged and we were pleased with the result. The hummus had a nice asparagus salsa on top and the Italian flatbread was a nice departure from the typical pita slices. Surprisingly, this was some of the best hummus weve had. We then shared a pizza. They obliged our request to hold the cheese. The crust is their Italian flatbread; it is definitely different than "traditional" pizza crust but it was a nice change-up. The pizza was light and fresh. I will be attending Rutgers soon so I look forward to going to Harvest Moon many more times.

An excellent brewpub with great food! They have not brewed a beer yet that I have not liked and I have been to many different brewpubs across the country. While it does get crowded that is only the case on Friday and Saturday nights. The food is really good and if you are on a budget they do have burgers and the like so you can spend more of your hard earned cash on the beer! They try and brew beer that everyone will like so do not be afraid to try as many different kinds as you can. They also always have a few on tap to appease the beer geeks- try the Belgian Triple Bock!

Decent atmosphere on a Tuesday night. Cool copper top bar. I didnt have any food, but the beers are horribly average and over priced. The imperial stout was $9 and tasted like sugar. I know imperial stouts have the tendency to be sweet but this was way too much. I also tested the key lime gose which tasted like vinegar and the the dark star Belgian which was lacking across the board. This place is amateur hour as far as beer goes. There was no complexity whatsoever in any of the beers I tried. Staff was accomodating.

Good atmosphere, consistently good service, and a convenient location (not far from parking garages, the College Avenue Rutgers campus, and the train station). They brew their own beers and have an extensive food menu. The food is top notch. The beers are somewhat inconsistent in quality; I like that they make their own, but its not always my favorite. I think someone with a bit more developed beer palette than me might disagree. I almost always sit at the bar, and receive good service there.

We were seated at a broken, lopsided table with a horrible draft. When we asked to move to one of the SIX open tables, we were told NO because we were not a party of three. Not only that, but the manager Dario was rude and refused to be of help. In addition, it took our waitress over 10 minutes to come to take our drink order. Needless to say, they were left with SEVEN empty tables because we left. Awful customer service. AVOID.

Hands down the best beer in New Brunswick. All of the beers they brew are spot on with taste with my personal favorite being any of the sour beers they brew. It is an overall great place to go hang out and have some food. The veggie flatbread, poutine, burgers, salads, and nachos are superb and come in some pretty large portions. Ive been here at least 10 times and have never been disappointed.

I have been here several times, the staff is ok but not the most attentive. The environment is pretty dated and dreary. The beers are also just ok, and if you order a sampler they charge $2-3 per sample which seemed a little expensive. The food was also just ok/not very good. I have no plans on returning unless something big changes.

had a beautifully done tenderloin with a spicy potato mash, and with the generous portions there almost wasnt enough room left over for their rather excellent beers. I especially liked their american pale ale. Combine craft brewing, excellent food and friendly staff, and you just cant lose. This bunch has got it right.

Delicious beer brewed on the premises and some of the best dining in New Brunswick. They used to have an awesome karaoke night on Thursdays, but sadly, no more. You can still catch local bands and DJs here on the weekends, and you the show all major sporting events on their numerous big screen televisions.

Enjoyed a seat at the bar, enjoyed a couple of pints of Kerins Pale Ale, good choice. Also had a chicken wrap which was very fresh and not too filling. Staff is friendly and attentive.... Id give 5 stars but I save that for those who go above and beyond expectations. Cant go wrong stopping in here.....

Great local brewery with their own blends brewed on site. Food is always good. Nice upper-scale college crowd/atmosphere. Good for families and celebrations (bdays, anniversaries, graduations). Also good for the night-life (around 10-11pm a house DJ spins current music). Not good for young kids.

We went for lunch and the food was pretty good, I enjoyed my veggie burger and the pad thai was reportedly good. I thought it was odd that they seemed to be seating people by the windows even though it was quite cold out and there were plenty of other open tables available that were less drafty.
