I used to really like this place. The waiters/waitresses are nice except for one ( no personality). Ive taken several of my friends and family members there for brunches. Very tasty. However, lately theyve been slacking. The place has gotten dirty and they have a huge problem with flies. The last time we were there the flies were landing on peoples hairs as they were eating. Its not just an occasional fly here and there. There were multiple baby flies as well which means... yes, infestation. We mentioned it to the woman at the counter and she basically just shrugged her shoulders. My friend went back just to give them another chance plus its convenient to her job. She said, the flies were still there and she spent most of the time swatting them away. Thats not an enjoyable meal regardless of food quality. If you still want to try it just make sure you dont sit in the back. Theres only one tiny bathroom and you smell everything.

Just had the most frustrating racial experience at this place. We were next in line when a white mother and daughter came in behind us and were directly seated ahead of us. AND when we mentioned The blatant rudeness that just happened...the young hostess replied and said...I have a table coming up, whats the problem??? NO APOLOGY, NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF WHAT EVEN OCCURRED. Mentioned the incident to the manager after paying the bill and informed him we would never come back to such a place. SHAME ON YOU

Bluestone Coffee co. is a neighborhood jewel! I have been twice, and each time I was delighted by my food, and enticed to have a steaming, frothy cappuccino (and I am not a big coffee drinker). The food is fresh, with quality ingredients. The decor is slightly industrial, yet charming, with mom and pop like kids paintings and community art work on the walls. The hours are limited to breakfast and lunch, but if you have a day off, it is the perfect spot for a late morning meal.

I had high hopes for this place, but was ultimately disappointed. I drove from Wayne to try and find a decent cappuchino that its Starbucks, but this place doesnt know the difference between a cappuchino and a latte. Slapping some foamed milk on top doesnt make it a cappuchino. Way to much milk. The food was fine, but if you are going to call yourself a coffee shop, know your espresso drinks.

I love this quaint little coffee shop! I come here frequently for brunch and Ive never been disappointed. Their breads are always fresh, their food always comes out perfectly, and the service is excellent. Even when its packed on a weekend morning, the food still comes out in a reasonable amount of time. I definitely recommend getting their French press coffee.

Driven by this place for years, never actually stopping in for breakfast. Finally my wife and I went in today and had an incredible breakfast. We both ordered French toast with strawberries and bananas and lattes. The coffee was superb and they even had a Gluten Free option for my wife. Wonderful seating with fun vibes and a friendly staff.

$9.00 for a tuna fish sandwich. Prices arent posted on the menu above the counter. Rude service. Go across the street to Dutch Bros or drive another two block and look for the Vietnamese food vendor. BTW, Paula T. is part owner so her review and most of the others here are not from real customers.

The best breakfast you will ever experience. Healthy, tasty, good quality & non-expensive. I tried the "Benny Salmon" and it is to die for. Along with the "Challah French Toast", both are great portions. Not to forget it tastes like a home cooked meal.

Excellent cup of espresso. Bought roasted beans to pull espresso at home and they are average. This place is sit down only. I asked the lady at counter checkout if I could sit and she proclaimed, "table service only."

Food was great. Really liked the potatoes with breakfast. Very cramped but perhaps that is just the way it is with moderately priced breakfast spots with great food. Service was fine though perhaps a little brusque.

Awesome house-roasted coffee and great weekend brunch spot. Be prepared to wait if you go on a Sunday morning. Walkable from from the following neighborhoods: Watchung Plaza, Edgemont Park, Erwin Park, Marlboro Park.
