Very meh! I know that I will rarely have good mexican food in NJ and I now know that I wont have it here. I went there for lunch on a slow day and was promptly seated and waited upon. My server was the bartender. She was great. That is the only reason to give the place one star. I ordered the tortilla soup. Im pretty sure that this is the same mix that they sell 200 yards away at Stop N shop. There was NO homemade feel to it. It tasted just like the Bear Creek brand. This will become a theme ... I also ordered the chorizo burrito. Im pretty sure that this was not chorizo, but some italian or czech sausage. It did not taste like chorizo. It was very mild and had no kick to it. The ingredients didnt taste fresh and the tortilla it was wrapped in was room temp or possibly colder. Basically, if you like this place, youre definitely from the NE and never get to anywhere that has real mex or tex mex & you probably think Chilis is the bomb. I grew up on Mexican food and this (seemingly) Sysco supplied place wasnt even Mexican, they barely have Mexican food on the menu, let alone, real Mexican food. Maybe its ok for the bar, as the bartender was great, but the rest of the experience is severely lacking.

Stay away from this place well all locations seriously the food is very bland and just thrown on ur plate no passion no flavor what so ever as a chef for a living its sad. I actually worked at blue moon for a week and few days and just watched the lack of passion when it came to produce well tatsed dishes. Every time i look at yelp i see the same comments or similar. Bland food and watered-down drinks i would as a manager etc would take customer feed back seriously and not brush it off this place needs a new step in flavor or customer will not come. But what i would say for the most part the wait staff is very good overall. As for.the cooks thats another story i think there just there for a pay check and have no culinary skill what so ever instead they just follow a recipe with that said again everything is bland especially the rice. Tbis place could be so much better if they actually cared about the flavor of the food instead of getting dishes out to customers as a customer i rather wait longer for a dish that taste yummy they. Food that taste like shittt and waste my money

Good food, but nothing overwhelmingly special here. Very crowded on a Saturday night, and though the line moved quickly, the hostess missed our name somehow and we waited quite long. The beer selection is pitiful, only Sam Adams, and Coors on tap. Margaritas were better, with several varieties to try and were pretty good though my second was overly potent. Food was good, but not spectacular. The chips and salsa were very nice and tangy. The tacos were quite nice and not incredibly heavy like most Mexican food. The burrito was much more average and slightly bland though the selection of hot sauces was quite good. Service was friendly and fairly quick.

Basically you come here and talk about what sports your kids are into and how great your new stainless steel appliances are. Also be prepared to endure SUV driving high strung Wyckoff mothers talking loudly about important world events while thinking they are eating really great Mexican food. In reality, there are much better places to eat, but if you are afraid to leave Wyckoff then this is the only game in town. The food isnt bad, but by no means is it great. Again, not many choices in Wyckoff, so your best bet is to get on 208 and head south.

So for the one in woodcliff lake the food was absolutely terrible. Im pretty sure the salsa and guacamole were store bought and the beans tasted horrible. This is a knock off Mexican restaurant. Want some good Mexican? Go to el banditos in I believe Pearl river. I was really craving Mexican food and after eating at blue moon Im trying to hold it down. But all blue moons arent terrible. Visit the one in whychoff it is quite good actually.

Walked in and ordered vegetarian taco minus meat plus beans from kids menu for my daughter and the guy who looks like a manager asks whether its for me or not! I dont think that has any relevance to my order but I answered anyway. Was very rude and said it comes in chkn or beef I said again I dont want either but instead beans , ver simple order but this guy just made it difficult with his nasty attitude, thanks!

Decent Mexican chain restaurant with a bar that is usually a popular spot. Some of the dishes are a little pricier, but the portions are mostly very generous. The burritos are gigantic and can easily be shared. The fried beer-battered avocado wedges are a great appetizer. There can be a bit of a wait sometimes when ordering take out in addition to the wait on weekend nights for the dining room.

Service was not good. Our order was delivered with lots of errors. We waited at least 5 minutes for utensils and the food was salty and mediocre. The server told me that the draft beer that I wanted was not available and the next table to me order some later and they got it.

Good food, good attention. Of the three times I had the moon chili, one they served it with the tortillas the menu said. The rest, one I had to ask for them and the other one just didnt bothered. Good flavors though, my favorite is the full moon chili.

While not the most authentic, blue moon is consistently delicious and very reasonably priced for the servings they give. Food is always fresh and has never disappointed. A staple lunch spot for my coworkers and I, easily one of the best in the area.

Order takeout from here every other week. Pat the manager is awesome and always takes care of everything. Great local place, they just expanded and added a bar and additional seating. If you like Tex Mex, try Blue Moon, you wont be disappointed.

Blue Moon is one my families "tex-mex go-to" spots! The food is always good and the staff is always friendly. The staff is very tolerable and accommodating to little ones and groups! Just be warned, on weekends it can get crowded and loud!

This place was a staple of my diet, my wife and I used to go here at least twice a month....Since the expansion you can expect long waits, smaller portions, horrible service and a room so loud you can barely carry on a conversation.

Above average Mexican Food. Owner is very present and makes sure that service is top notch. Always busy, so go early as you may have to wait, but the wait moves quickly. See George at the bar to help your time go faster!

Always happy with the food and service from this location. Some nights have live music. Friendly and relaxed. We always eat there early because it gets crowded at night and the tables are. Little close together.
