My husband and I decided to have dinner here because this restaurant gives 10% of the bill to The Quinlan Bereavement Center. It is due to this type of generosity that the Quinlan Centers are able to offer the services of extraordinary counselors at no cost or whatever you can pay. It is an attractive place, the kind of place where one does not come in wearing jeans with holes. Our waitress was lovely and served me probably the best bourbon Manhattan up I have had in some time. I had a steak sandwich (with real steak) and my husband chose a steak option as well. The only failing was the bread and the rolls. They were store bought rather than homemade. All that being said if you want to dress up just a bit, enjoy a pleasant ambiance and a nice meal the Upstream Grille is where you want to be. Dining on Mondays allows you to give to one of the best charities in Sussex County.

Food was great, but service was over bearing. My friend and I met for an early dinner after kayaking. The restautant was quiet when we arrived. Our waitress was great, however many people worked in our area rather than one assigned waitress, which caused many interruptions to our conversation and made us feel rushed as they kept asking to take our plates and were still eating. All staff was great, but wouldve been better to keep track of the last person who asked us if we needed anything to avoid over asking/interrupting conversations and only take our plates when our new orders were coming out. All in all, the watermelon mojito was delish and they had a very cool fire pit outside.

Cant say enough amazing things about this place. My family went for the first time last week and the kids havent stopped talking about it since. The food selection, presentation and flavor was outstanding and the service was out of this world. Everyone from the hostesses to the wait staff and even the owners went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The live music was even impressive. We will definitely be back often. Thank you for a wonderful evening Upstream Grille, keep up the great work!

My husband and I have been to Upstream Grille about 5 times now for dinner. Its very clean and the staff is very attentive. Every meal we have ever ordered has been delicious. We always eat in the dining room but there is also a bar area with TVs. You can actually watch the chefs cooking your food through an open window area. The cook will come out to the tables to find out how you like your meal. We always tell him that we love it. Very relaxing and enjoyable.

Its nice to find a local place you can call home. We always feel welcomed at Upstream. Its like seeing your friends every time you are greeted by the staff. The food is amazing and changes seasonally. Everything is made from fresh local ingredients and you can taste that is every dish that Chef Ken makes. I am so addicted that I visit for lunch several times a week and we visit for Happy Hour once a week. If you havent tried Upstream yet you have to get there soon!

Loved the chicken pot pie. At first I was taken aback by the presentation. A soupy chicken and vegetables served in a iron skillet with a puff pastry on top. Once you chopped the pastry into the soupy mix you had a classic chicken pot pie with the lightest, most flaky crust ever! Generous chunks of chicken, carrots and veggies. Skillet kept the dish piping hot. Well played, Upstream, well played.

We visited with our two kids who are 5 and 2 and the food was delicious (looked like it was fresh and real instead of the stuff you get from the big chains) and came out very fast (a super plus for us because our 2 year old doesnt sit long). The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was great with fun music playing too. Will definitely return!!

WE COULD HAVE ATE APPS ALL NIGHT !!! THE SRIRACHA LEMON AIOLI CALAMARI WAS TO DIE FOR, ONE OF A KIND. AS FOR DINER THAT WAS FAST AND AWWWWSOME ! Watered down drinks. Overpriced food that wasnt very good. Trouble getting the waitresss attention. $29 for a small entree that was bland and wasnt even served with salad or bread. &13.95 for three small over cooked coconut shrimp.
