Family owned home cooking! Excellent food and desserts. They are friendly & accommodating. Were a group of 9 people,with family visiting from Rome Italy,they stood open and serviced us, after 8pm (their close time) ! Highly recommend this place.... We had Meatloaf,Steak, Fried Chicken, Roasted Chicken, Chicken Tenders, Roasted Beef, Mashed Potatoes, Sweet Potato Fries,Regular Fries...Apple pie,blueberry pie,coconut pie....All yummy!

If youre starving a meal at Elias Cole, will probably taste pretty good, but if you have other options just keep going till you get to Post Jervis, (if youre heading north on Rt 23) or Sussex (if youre southbound). This family owned restaurant is something of an institution and has its fans. On the weekends, motorcyclists fill the place during breakfast hours. Note: Cash Only: no credit or debit cards accepted.

Excellent and fresh food. Service is too notch, and is really rustic and old school. No wifi and no atm, cash or check only. Eggs taste like theyre fresh out of the chicken coop, and the fried chicken is unrivalled, not to mention the fresh bread. This place is an hour and a half away from me and I still visit all the time.

Great place for breakfast. My husband and I always go with out with our two kiddies. Homemade bread for sale there all the time. Always get a loaf on the way out. Love how its cash only. They are very old school. Delicious food and staff is awesome/friendly!!!

If youre looking for classic American food with a nice country feel, the Elias Cole is the right place to go. The only draw back is that they only accept cash or check, but for the sake of your waitress, you should always pay and tip in cash.

The soups in this place are legendary! I often make a meal out of the soups! The menu is rather limited and thats what keeps me from issuing a 5 star rating..the burgers are extremely tasty and the large choice of homemade pies are a plus!
