Excellent Food... Maybe the best Mexicali Style I have ever had!!! This is what Mexicali Food SHOULD taste like. I have spent years traveling SoCal, Arizona, New Mexico and Mexico. The whole meal... from the Homemade Salsa (Which tasted like something and not tomato sauce from a can!) and Homemade Chips (NOT Greasy!)... Guacamole was seasoned exceptionally and was made of REAL Avocados and not some green frozen grease! The Fish Tacos were superb and the Chef should sell English Style Fish and Chips somewhere as the frying and the fresh fish were First Class. We also had the Chicken Tortillas that were fresh, not soggy and HUGE... Excellent Experience... Arrrrrriiiiiiibbbbbaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!

I was debating on writing anything but honestly this place did not deliver. I saw the reviews and said hey might be a little gen. Went in on a Saturday afternoon and it was dead the salsa was pretty good and thats all this place seems to think celery goes in Mexican food. As or food was being prepared I can hear what I assume was the manager or owner tell the cook how to make the food. Not a good sign at all. The food arrived and it was just bland I had flautas and my wife had the marinate burrito wrap both had nothing and oddly the burrito had celery no idea why. The service was lacking as well. I wish it was different but it wasnt

My boyfriend ordered this for "take out" annnnddd.... in a word? Awful. I love Mexican food, both authentic and Americanized. The chicken in the tostada (sp?) was bland... the lettuce wasnt fresh... the tortilla wasnt even tasty! My sister ordered tacquitos and the beef was chewy and again, very bland. As for the salsa- I love me some cilantro, but it was overkill in the salsa. Boyfriend said the tacos was probably the best thing on the menu so far, but that wasnt saying much. Im not sure what these other reviewers are experiencing... maybe I had a bad night?

The food is good the Mexican Pizza to die for. But you better bring a lot of cash prices are off the hook for a place in Sussex. 5 Star prices for a store front in Sussex Borough. A hamburger - served with french fries.......$7.95 with cheese add $.25 - with sauteed onions add $2.25. $10.45 for a burger I dont think so and why are there only ground beef tacos on Tues Wed or Thur. is there some Mexican law you can only serve them on those days. Riviera Maya Mexican Restaurant 340 Route 206 Branchville, NJ 07826 Now thats authentic Mexican.

I ordered the Carne asada burrito. It was served with yellow rice and frijoles lightly covered with Mexican or cheddar cheese. Served with cabbage salad mixed with corn, cilantro, and light vinegar. Fresh. First time visiting, Im a truck driver and didnt really know what to expect but I was impressed by the presentation of the meal and the size. I left full and satisfied. You pay for what you get here. I also ordered a shredded chicken burrito to go which is also great and came with salad. I will come back and bring family when I can.

Good lunch. Had the combo platter. Make sure you order the house hot sauce if you like jalapeños. Good service and complimentary chips and salsa. No complaints.

The service was great, but the food was greatly underwhelming. I got two burritos, one "spicy", but neither seemed to have any spice or flavor put in at all...

Extremely overpriced mediocre food. The place itself is nice, and the server was okay. But the food is worth $10 max not the $15 and above they charge.

Totally Americanized Mexican food. The red sauce tasted more like BBQ sauce than chile sauce. I shouldve taken my money and flushed down the toilet.

BYOB. Freshly prepared food, not frozen reheated dreck covered in catsup. Interesting specials. Fiesta burrito is always a good choice.
