Given that there are very few Indian restaurants in central and western jersey (unlike the I-95/Rt1/NJ27 corridor), this was a refreshingly good place. It is a typical North Indian place, with good ambience, decor and service. The food is authentic, staff is very warm and friendly, and perfect for families and small-to-large groups. All the dishes are made to order, flavorful and the naans/rotis are soft and crisp. While there are restaurants that have higher quality food in NJ, this one is definitely worth visiting if you live in the vicinity.

Ive been looking around for a local go-to Indian place after my favorite one in New Brunswick closed, and that I think this might be the place! I placed a rather large take out order from them to sample a number of things, and I was rather impressed. They give great portions of food and high quality rice to go with the dishes, and everything tasted homemade and very fresh. Prices were a little high, but for the quality of the ingredients I thought they were still reasonable. I will be back again!

Ive been there 5 times: three times for lunch and twice for dinner. The food is sometimes delicious, sometimes bland, dry and cold. In general, dinner is better than lunch. I would probably give them another chance, but I get really annoyed with the waiter. He is much too casual and makes annoying jokes (sometimes at my expense) everytime he comes to the table. He can also be rude at times if I make a request. My friends and husband think he is annoying too.

I ordered take-out from this restaurant. The food was good but pricey for the amount you get. The thing that upset me the most was that I was charged for an entree I neither wanted nor ordered. The person taking my order didnt bother confirming the order with me and I felt a little rushed (despite the fact I was the only person in the restaurant). While I think the food is great, I am hesitant to go there again because of the hospitality of the employees.

We have dined at a number of Indian restaurants including a few in NYC and Divine Curry stacks up against some of the best that we have been to. For a restaurant "off the beaten path", their food is very good to excellent, the staff friendly and the service is very good. We are going back for our second visit tonight and will add this restaurant to our favorites list. We really appreciate having quality Indian cuisine available in Hillsbrough.

such a surprise to find this delicious Indian restaurant. Have enjoyed the lunch buffet, dinner in as well as take out. The samosas were great. nice crispy shell and the spices were perfect. in fact, what stood out for me with all the food was how balanced all the spices and flavors were in each dish. The portions are a good size as well. This is a very good place and each time Im in the area I look forward to having another Divine Curry meal.

I had no idea if I liked Indian food but I definitely wanted to try it. My friend and I went to the lunch buffet today and were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, the service exceptionally friendly. I really hope people hear about it as it is in a low traffic area but Id like it to not go the way of El Paso which used to inhabit that space. :)

I agree with Suk! Food was not worth the price and the waiter, some indian guy from Goa..was passing statements that was annoying.He thinks they are funny.He also kept insisting and arguing , not allowing us to choose the table, though the restaurant had none other than us, that day.Hospitality sucks! Food sucks too!

I love Indian food and have tried quite a few in both Jersey and NY city. This place is by far the best. Chicken and lamb dishes, especially tandoori, are exceptional. The naan are also highly recommended. If you get lucky and they have Kulfi in stock, go for it.

I ordered their chicken vindaloo and some nan for take out. The nan was a little dry and chewy, but the chicken was excellent. I will defiantly order from there again.

Nice place. Hidden away. Ppl are nice. Food needs a little more salt and spices- but u can add that. Better than most indian restaurants in & around hillsborough.
