I dont live anywhere near here but I happened to come across this place while on a trip and decided to try it for lunch. This restaurant looks like a favorite local hangout, old-fashioned but comfortable. They dont have waitstaff so you have to place your order at the counter. The menuboard behind the counter was huge, so I didnt really read through everything but prices looked reasonable. Since they have breakfast all day, I tried a scrapple and eggs platter. It turned out pretty good, comparable to some of the better NJ diners.

My husband and I eat there every weekend. Local place. Good food. If it was not, people would not return day after day or week after week, which many do. I have met and made many good friends there. Atmosphere friendly. They employee locals. And as far as the last comment, unless he does their tax return, I dont think he should have made that comment. If you have not given them a try, I suggest you do. I especially recommend breakfast, lunch and ice cream!

My husband was there this morning and had the worst service. All he wanted was a simple cup of coffee and it came with an attitude. He was unaware there was an issue with using debit cards. On top of it he was never asked what size he wanted either. That will be the first and last time he stops there. Such a shame.

Great Char-Broil Like When I Was a Kid (Im 60). Burgers, sandwiches, souos, fries...you name it. Going to the AFTER is like going back to a 1960 neighborhood grill/ice cream parlor. Its all fresh, its all delicious...and, its cash-only. Dont forget to top off your meal with some Welsh Farms ice cream!

I live down the road and just ate here for the first time today. The good was great and the price was less then I thought it was going to be. The staff were really nice. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

This is a great group and family friendly place. Its cash only (but there is an ATM inside). The onion rings are really good. The shakes can be made from any of their ice cream flavos, I enjoyed a banana shake!

Consistently great for decades! But I just phoned them, and they said they are open at 6:30 a.m. daily, not the 6:00 a.m. as Google posts. Not a big deal, but worth noting. Hope this helps! (Larry B.)

Not a bad place I feel from the outside as crazy as this will sound I thought it would be a little cheaper in price and food would be better. The food here is not bad I just found it average.
