I visit Royal Crown once a year in July when visiting family. Normally our visit is a pleasent one; but today turned me off from this place permanently. We got our ice cream, and was enjoying it, when suddenly I felt something metallic in my mouth. Fortunately I did not swallow it, because when I spat the object out, I discovered that it was a small washer. I brought the ice cream and washer up to the counter and told the person who served me what happened. Her response was, "oh Ill get you another one." No apology of any kind!! I told her that I didnt want another one, I want a refund. She asked for the washer so she can show it to her boss. Moments later her supervisor comes out and informs me that they do not have any washer like the one that was supposedly in my ice cream anywhere in his shop. It was obvious to me that he did not believe a word i was saying. Trying to remain calm and not cause a scene, I told him that I have no reason to lie about something potentially dangerous like this. After several minutes of going back and forth with this unprofessional so called "supervisor," I received from him, a full refund without an apology. A word to the wise, CHECK YOUR ICE CREAM THOROUGHLY BEFORE SWALLOWING IT.

So I walked into get some ice cream. The line was pretty long, buts its only scoping ice cream so it should have gone fast. WOW WAS I MISTAKEN. I turned to dust just b4 being handed my ice cream and then I seriously considered throwing my ice cream in the tip jar. Next time I drive past this place, Im closing my eyes and plugging my ears up. This place is unbearable

Royal Crown has some excellent home made ice cream. Ive never had the soft serve, but the hard dip I can attest is excellent. Pistachio Gratziano is a personal favorite. Real pistachios with a bing cherry flavor. Prices are reasonable. Lines can be long. Others rave about the food, we found it unremarkable. Go for the ice cream!

Top notch food and of course, ice cream. I personally love the root beer gelatis. Homemade ice, and soft serve, Try the blueberry ice cream. You are in Hammonton afrer all . The cheese steaks and fries are to die for.Go and enjoy while they are still open. They are a seasonal establishment and its the season!

Most natural tasting custards since made from real fruits in season. Hard to choose a favorite since even the ice cream and water ices are so delicious. We drive all the way from Blackwood to enjoy these treats.
