I havent been to this Red Robin in years because of a horrible experience I had when it first opened. I went again last night and had a strangely specific similar disappointing experience. Last time, I ordered a chicken burger that came with avocado on it (I think it was called Californian Chicken or something) and it said nothing about being spicy on the menu but when I bit into it my mouth was on fire. Like it literally tasted like it was drenched in habanero oil. Now its not that I hate spicy things but when Im expecting something to NOT be spicy and its not only spicy but overly burning-my-stomach-while-I-eat-it spicy...then we have a problem. I asked the server about it because maybe I misread the menu or something. She assured me this sandwich was not supposed to be spicy at all but at the same time she said there was nothing she could do about it. Meaning she refused to replace my meal with something I could eat. I wasnt planning on paying an additional $10 for another sandwich that was actually edible. So I just paid and left. I wasnt exactly mad, definitely disappointed, and vowed to probably never go back. That was until I got stuck with a $25 giftcard. So I went again last night with my boyfriend. He got a burger that was supposed to be super spicy...loaded with jalepenos, pepperjack, and chipotle mayo. And I ordered a boring turkey burger because I figured itd be safe (lol) I noticed that it said it had chipotle mayo on it too, which was fine, like I said before I dont hate hot stuff. So this time when we got our food and my boyfriend tried his first...completely mild. It tasted like a regular burger with mild salsa on it. I mean, it was a good tasting burger but it was not spicy...at all! It was topped with a roasted jalepeno as a garnish and even THAT was completely spice-less, Ive never had anything like it. Then I tried mine...I could definitely taste the chipotle mayo. It was so good...at first. Then when I got halfway through it the heat started building up and I could feel my stomach melting. Chipotles are nice but Ive never had them get this hot before. I gave him the second half of mine and he gave me the second half of his. He liked mine better and said it was much much hotter than the Burnin Love burger he ordered. Basically, I feel like Im in some sort of weird episode of Twilight Zone where everything on the menu is completely different than what its supposed to be. Service is good. Drinks are good. Prices are good.

Came in for a "Gourmet" burger. The waitress told me they could not cook it less than a little pink in the middle. Say what? Isnt this a National "Gourmet Burger" chain? Would it be reasonable to assume that they know how to properly cook a burger that is medium rare? I thought so too. This is becoming a trend with big burger places. Not knowing how to properly cook a burger without sacrificing it to the skillet gods. But hey, its all good we are gonna put some onion straws and some BBQ sauce on it. Voila, Gourmet bro. The same applies to Famous Daves who wont leave more than "a little pink" either. I guess he prides himself on being able to slather proprietary BBQ sauces on his overcooked chunks of meat. It is very sad that I have to go to Bulldogs, a local pub a few miles away with only 8 tables, and ask for a medium rare burger that is actually medium rare and delicious every time. But thank God a man can actually find a place these days where they arent afraid to cook a burger like a man would do on his own grill. The only reason this place is getting two stars is because of the bottomless fries. I love me some fries. And they are usually cooked pretty well. But your gourmet burgers are a joke.

So I had to say something . today I took my daughter to Red Robin and got the Boca burgers , they were good BUT they come with all you can eat fries, the power went out so we got fries only with the burgers , was all a bit cold . the power being out was not fault of RR but we sat there for a long time and when i asked for a discount for not being able to have more fries i got 3 dollars off a 42 dollar meal for a father and daughter {2 burgers 42 bucks } friendly but slow service and no power . not sure i will be back . i do have a rewards card guess i need to check to see if i get a free burger yet . sad you need to get better management in that store . i have read many complaints on slow service and dirty tables .

1st the service was so very crappy that we were trying to figure out if it was a new staff. We had to ask for a place setting numerous times and it was bought to us one piece at a time, the pretzel bites came out burnt, the cheese sause was watered down and bitter, the celery looked dirty as if it was cut with a dirty knife and not washed. To top it all off I am typing this report and still waiting for my food to come out. We have been waiting 45 minutes and counting.

this place is awesome for a quick bite to eat when in the area. i love how people complain about how much the burgers are, its worth it considering that all the burgers have at least 3 topping on them. plus that an average price among restaurants like this. if you want a cheap burger, go to a fast food joint. over all the staff is fast and friendly and bring refills on fries and drinks even if you dont ask.

Everything on our menu was wrong, onions were missed on one of the burgers, came out half an hour later with onions on a plate. At that point the burger was cold. Fruit salad looked old as if they took the fruit out of the bottom of a barrel. So much more to write! I will never go back!

Great place! We bring a large group of our Stockton CSI summer campers to Red Robin. They do a great job of getting everyones food out to them quickly, feeding 30+ people in under 90 minutes. The campers love the food and the bottomless fries. Thank you, Red Robin!

Loved the look inside this location, different from the other cluttered locations Ive been at previously. Server was great and took the time to make some conversation with us tourists. Food came out perfect, including all the alterations we threw at him.

Great place to go for gluten free options. They have gluten free buns so you can have a normal burger and eat it with your hands instead of wrapped in lettuce or with a knife and fork. Fries are also gluten free (cooked in dedicated fryer).
