It takes one bad experience to ruin a place for me and that is just what I had. I have always loved this place and I considered it a real treat to stop in there for dinner. Always friendly staff and awesome food except this time was horrible. The waitress who at first was friendly and welcoming immediately began to completely ignore my table. I wanted to add something to my order but was not able to even get her attention. With 8 workers there and 5 tables who already had their food I can not possibly see how we could have been flat out ignored. The steak (that I order EVERYTIME AND LOVE) was so rubbery and hard I could not even put my fork in it. It was completly inedible. The rice was hard like it was dried out. The only time I seen my waitress after ordering was to get the check and then I look at it and see that I am overcharged. After this expierence in a place that I have always loved it would be very hard for me to ever return again. It is a shame but this place is now done for me.

Stopped in for lunch today. Place was not crowded but it was off hours. The food was really good. I had the Red Sea and my girlfriend had the shrimp quesadilla. We both really enjoyed our dishes as well as the sides of corn and black beans. The service was very friendly, informative and attentive if a bit inexperienced. My gf was halfway through her meal before I got my own dish and the sides and appetizers were served out of sync with the rest of the meal. However these are small complaints compared to the quality of the food and the friendly family who own the place. We are definitely going back. A really nice addition to our local dining choices.

Excellent, fresh made burritos, chimichangas, tacos, etc. The food here is exceptional and the owners pride themselves in using fresh ingredients and it certainly shows in the final product. This place is a BYOB, so, grab a bottle of wine or a couple of beers and I recommend the salmon soft tacos or chimichangas with homemade tomato sauce and a side of rice and beans. The owners are very attentive and accommodating and the ambiance consists of a tastefully updated dining room.

Catered our daughters high school graduation party from Grill Creations. It was a huge success! Everyone LOVED the food, kids and adults alike! The sauces were outrageous! Plantains were to die for! Ivan was extremely helpful in menu planning. And the price was right. We found the place on line. It wasnt around the corner but we decided to give it a try anyway, and we have no regrets. Highly recommend it for your next party!

I just finished scarfing down an awesome "Cinco de Mayo" - it was a tremendous midnight snack. Nice tender chicken and ground beef topped with cheese, ground beef, and a salsa verde - delicioso! It came with tasty sweet plantains as well as black beans and rice. Frijoles - I love saying that word. Anyway - this family run place is great for take out or dining in - nice atmosphere with very polite staff. Thanks!

i have been there numerous times, however i will no longer be going back.we asked for some sour cream and was charged $1.50 for it.I feel thats way too much.The owner felt that was an acceptable amount.The waiter didnt bother to tell us the coupon was not valid initially.He waited until the end to tell us it was not valid that day.He remarked that well we should of checked that.

This is, hands down, one of the best fresh food experiences you will find in the area. Every item I have tried from the menu has been wonderful, with never a letdown. The staff are always extremely friendly and courteous, always greeting with a smile. Very clean restaurant with large, open dining area. Eat in or take out. Five enthusiastic stars.

Best Mexican food around! Just discovered this little restaurant recently and ate there today for the first time. Excellent food. I had the vegetarian burrito, it was absolutely perfect. The food here is so fresh, you feel like your eating a gourmet, very high scale dish at reasonable prices. Im already addicted!!

Ive been here several times, always try something different from the menu, and Ive NEVER been disappointed. Cozy little, family run, byob cantina. I also had them cater my daughters graduation party, plenty of food and my guests raved! The guac is so good here it makes me mad that I cant duplicate it at home.

Holly Molly!!! By far the best Mexican Food around and the staff are super friendly. The owner/chef does his walk arounds and makes sure everything is ok. They leave no room for error and the food is by far the freshest Ive had here in union county. If I could I wouldve given this place 6 Stars!

Do not be turned off by the shabby exterior, come inside and prepare to be amazed. The food is phenomenal! fresh and delicious. Satisfying large portions minus the grease of the typical Mexican restaurant. This is quickly becoming my go-to favorite BYBO.

This place is just great. 6 of us walked in hungry, we all walked out full and flabbergasted by the quality of the food. Amazing little find, dont hesitate to try it out if you like real Mexican food. If you arent sure if you like the food, try it anyway.

Amazing food and a wonderful staff. Most of the staff are family members of the owner/chef, Ivan. Their motto, no freezer, no fryer, no butter, definitely shows in the quality of the food. We live nearly sixty miles away, but we will be back.

We have been coming here for years. Food is the best Mexican in the area, and not unreasonably expensive. Its also fairly healthy, depending on what you order. Staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. Cant recommend this place enough.

Amazing food, amazing staff, and exceptional taste. Their only fault is their front parking lot, scratched my car because of the dip in the road. Luckily I started using their back lot and havent had an issue.
