There is nothing worse than coming into a restaurant when its empty and as you wait to place your order, it suddenly gets crowded. This is what happened to me and what made things worse was the people who came in waaaaaaay after me have somehow received some guacamole, chips and waters first. I dont to be petty about not getting water because maybe they dont serve water instantly like other resturants but it lingers in your mind. Thoughtout the night i was waffling between - A. This restaurant has bad service. B. Is this a race thing. Also missing was the occasional follow up to ensure everything is alright because I would have told them. The *only* reason I tipped was because the bus boys and chefs in the back shouldnt have to suffer.

OK food. Good service. Salsa was good but definitely not fresh . I ordered vegetable burrito and my husband ordered chili burrito. Mine was overly bland but his was ok. We ended up adding spicy sauce on top. This was our second time so now I can say that I am definitely not a fan of their food. We got there at 8:30pm and they are wrapping up. We waited till waitress confirmed with the owner that we can eat in. So we got our table. We were not rushed which was good and their service was good.

Tinga is one of my favorite restos in the Millburn-Maplewood area. Food is fresh and clean--not overly processed junk. Their nachos grande are to die for! You can get any burrito "bare", in a bowl, no tortilla wrap. The H is a fan of the chicken chili burrito and I usually get a shrimp and avocado salad or a shrimp quesadilla. Their guac is very nice and tastes homemade. Fast delivery too.

I love their Chicken Tinga Bowl & Burrito! The chicken is tender and has great flavor. I go there often for lunch with coworkers & like the fact they mix up the background music which makes every visit different & enjoyable. Karen normally serves us our food when we go and her pleasant attitude contributes to us keep coming back.

When it comes to Mexican food, Tinga Taqueria just doesnt cut it anymore. People in Millburn, including myself, prefer Chipotle or quedoba to Tingas less than satisfying menu. Notes: *Never get the Tacos, still to the burritos if anything *Pricey, not for someone on a budget *Friendly staff but nothing too impressive

My co-workers and I came here for a business lunch. The service was quick and friendly. I had a mission burrito "bar sized", smaller with a salad. Everything was fresh and very flavorful. Cant wait to go back and try the BBQ brisket or nachos both looked excellent. Easy parking access as well.

Its your basic american/mexican fair. Nothing shocking or suprising here, chips and salsa for the table and typical fair offered. The acustics does make it loud when its packed. young servers so they are not always as eager to please as they are to count the tips!

Although it is an average Mexican Cantina, the food is awesome. Ive never had a bad meal here...and the service is usually very good (except when its busy)!
