I hadnt been to Smashburger in a while, so I was surprised when I saw the new menu. I see the main changes are they now have combo deals and the create your own burger now has cheaper options if you pick a size smaller than the "big" burger. Anyway, on a trip to Western NJ, Id normally stop at either the Parsippany or Morris Plains Smashburger but traffic was so bad on Northbound I-287 that I decided to try the Florham Park Smashburger instead. This location is similar to the others. You order and pay at the counter and then they bring the food to the table. I thought counter service was okay and the food was delivered reasonably quickly. Also, I noticed they actually cleaned the tables at this location, unlike some other Smashburger locations where all the tables were greasy. The burger I ordered turned out decently, although the smashfries were lacking in rosemary oil.

You never know what youll get. Ive been there many times, sometimes its great service and great food and sometimes the service is no good and the food is not made well. Its tough because my first time their they set the bar pretty high and they have never met those standards since. Food is good and love their milkshakes. If you order to eat their and they give you a milkshake in a to go cup dont be fooled it wont be as much as if its in a glass with the leftovers in the metal container. Theyll try and tell you its the same amount but its definitely not.

Let me preface this with- I love Hamburgers, I love French Fries and I thought I would love Smash Burger. I went in with high expecations, but my burger was terrible. Maybe they just had a bad day. Maybe they just spilled the entire salt shaker on my burger, but it tasted like I was licking a salt stick. It was nasty. Fries were OK, but also not as good as I had hoped.

Major dislike! Whatever you do, DO NOT order the Jersey Burger, my boyfriend and I got lunch the other day and within hours, he no longer had a date with me but instead with the toilet. He is still sick as of today and theres no doubt it was food poisoning from eating at smash burger. Super disappointing - might as well have had McDonalds across the street.

The Smash Burgers are alright but even when I tell them how I want my onions on my burger cooked they still dont get it right so I have to send it back my food get cold for them just to cook my onions well done how hard is it to cook onions well done I tell them I want them almost burned and they dont be like that so then they have to do it over

Black bean burger is 50% salt. This is an issue with all smashburger locations. Other than that it would be great with a salad and veggie frites (with less salt). Within an hour of eating ir, my blood pressure shot threw the roof. They hate your health. PS My blood pressure was so high, I exploded like an overinflated balloon

Cashier wasnt very personable. It took a while to get my order filled. Actually someone that came in behind me with more items received her food first and it could have been cleaner in the front end area. I also noticed that the guys in the grill area didnt have hair nets on.

I went there today and had a delicious burger -the All American Cheeseburger Big Smash and it was very good, on par with in and out and five guys. The fries were good as well. A very good burger.

Great Tasting food. I am shocked with the amount of bad reviews. Great grilled chicken burger (Baja) and the sweet potato fries are fantastic. Amazing service.
