Enjoyed the atmosphere but took FOREVER to get a server. In fact, 2 guys argued about not wanting to take our table right in front of us because he was getting ready to go. I was a server for years and we would have gotten in so much trouble for that - figure it out in the back guys. I ordered a Malbec and I am CONVINCED it was a bad bottle...as in, the wine went bad. It was so sour, it basically tasted like vinegar. Ordered a Pinot Noir after and it was a LITTLE better but for the price, I expected at least a decent quality glass. Not horrible but not great. Perhaps would go back for some beers or something but not for the food and definitely not the wine.

It fit the bill of dive bar, had some fun using the dart, but oh man the service. From the get go the bartender had a major attitude. Instead of working with us to see what they had in stock, she herself suggested WE GO TO ANOTHER BAR! And yes, with attitude. So we went to Bar Americana where the bartender was actually polite.

Love this place so much I take the train from Fanwood to hang out here. Bartenders are great, prices are really awesome, food is much better than expected. They frequently do special events, which are all a good time. This is the true NJ dive experience . . . in all the best possible ways. w.

Local watering hole, any given night there is usually some sort of crowd, reasonably priced drinks. For food, my personal favorite is the hangover cheesesteak.
