Had reservations for 12 people......all went well.....the food was not that great....I got the steak sandwich....for $18.00 with frys. There was hardly any steak it, I asked for medium rare it came our over well done....the roll was stale, I didnt say anything because everyone was eating and would of been done by the time I got another sandwich....the girl next to me ordered a salad with tuna and told them what she could not eat on it and they said ok.......but brought it out anyway with the stuff she could not eat........so it went back.......came out again and still was wrong.......Coffee time........they make Coffee individual......ok......coffee comes out one at at time.......no spoons, no milk....so we all had to wait for that........the waitress was very nice, but the place was really not that busy to mess up some of our lunches.....there was one other girl not happy with her lunch....was thinking of doing another even there, but I will have to re think it......was not really impressed with the food........atmosphere was nice

Ive been coming here regularly since they opened. Usually come here to watch football and have a few beers with the fellas. The reason for the one star....Came here to watch my team, the Oakland Raiders play the Texans on Monday Night Football. Got a nice seat in front of the drop down television, ordered a beer and asked the bartender if he could turn on the sound to the game. After a few minutes he confers some management type female. She tells us that it is their policy to only have the sound up if the two local NY teams were playing. She goes on further to blame the owners, claiming it comes from them. Seriously there are less then 20 people here and they are shoving dance music down our throats. I think its time to find a new place to watch football.

First time going. I went on valentines day as a last minute idea. Was surprised that it was relatively empty from 8-10. We had Lobster mac & cheese, and steak with mash potatoes and their homemade steak sauce. The food was probably the best food ive had from a restaurant in awhile. Everything tasted fresh and delicious . A LITTLE expensive and the portions are A LITTLE small but the flavor is worth the price regardless. We also tried a few different drinks and they were just as amazing. To top it off the waitress was very friendly and was always on top of everything, constantly checking on us just enough to make sure we didnt need anything but not so much that it was annoying. Thank you Blue Ale House for making this valentines day a good one!

We had my sisters baby shower there this past weekend. We sat in the back semi private area by the fireplace. We had 44 people comfortably seated. The food was absolutely delicious, we did family style appetizers of humus & calamari for the adults & the children had soft pretzels. Guests had choice of Blu Kabob, Chicken Milanese or the Fish Tacos. Rich & Kosta are very gracious hosts. The waitresses, Devin & Brittany, were on their A game as was Eric and the rest of the kitchen staff. Management was very accommodating in allowing us to come in 2 hrs early to set up our decorations. Chef Ken made the planning very easy for us! Without hesitation, I would have another event there.

A fairly average sports bar with typical pub food. The beer menu was fairly extensive with a few good finds on it. The food was decent, but nothing really stood out. The wings were pretty generic and a bit boring, especially for garlic glazed ones. The nachos were tasty, but there could have been more meat on them and the cheese concealed pretty fast. The avocado egg rolls were the best, especially the sauce, though could use a bit more texture. The atmosphere is nice with a huge vmbar with ice for keeping drinks cold, and a huge gas fireplace, though the walls are pretty bare. The clientele is very Jersey but what can you do?

Dont order a flight here because the bartender just puts random drinks in tiny glasses in no specific order. After I pointed out that the glass that was supposed to have markers mark in it had some completely random apple flavored liqour they brought it back and one of glasses had a dead fly floating around in it. Should have got up and walked out then but I stayed for the overpriced diner quality food that was about as good as Dennys.

Since the day it opened Blu Alehouse has yet to disappoint. Food, service and quality are always excellent. Weve tried nearly the entire menu to date and weve only encountered a few dishes that were either over/under cooked or heavily salted to the point weve the food was inedible. Every time this has happened though they definitely took the time to remedy the problem. Overall you cant go wrong with Blu Alehouse.

Inconsiderate to diners needs. A dish in the menu did not state there were nuts in the sauce. My daughter has allergies and started a major reaction right at the table. The waitress at the same time gave us a lecture that we should always ask if there are nuts in the dish. Really? What kind of considerate behavior was that? After a 1000+ dollars at the ER we went home. Done with this place

We ordered lunch on a slow Saturday. Our waitress was very nice. Seemed like longer than normal for the food to arrive. I had fish tacos, nothing special. The flavor was kind of bland for my taste though. My friend said the burger was good. The waitress offered dessert but we were both full. This place isnt too local for me, so not sure Ill be back anytime soon.

Poor Poor Service. Been there a couple times and have never been impressed but this past time was our last. Four of us walked in at 9pm on a Saturday night the place was pretty dead. After 20 mins of sitting at a table by the bar and having to flag someone down to ask to be waited on we still did not have anyone come approach our table so we walked out.

This place get very loud almost every night. If you go past anything after 7PM it becomes a place for singles to mingle. Im talking super loud music, people everywhere and really expensive food and drinks. Not to say these are bad things, but I was there to casually get a drink and snack on some things and it wasnt that at all.

Service was good, very friendly and was checked on many times, food was great, had roasted chicken and mash with gravy and my wife had a salad with berries in it and avacado rolls, and it was stellar. Everything was spiced well and so fresh. Their beer menu was good and was very fresh. We will definitely be coming back.

The lobster Mac n cheese was good. Hubs had the Riverdale, said it was good. Biggs had chicken parmesan, he loved it. Smalls had tenders with the perfect honey mustard. Finished off with fried Oreos, delish. Drinks were great, service was a little slow... But we arrived at changeover and then it got busier.

I really like this place. Casual bar and restaurant. Ive gone here both to have a few drinks with a couple friends and for dinner. The bar has a very nice selection of draft beers and plenty of TVS to watch sports. The food is a little pricey, but its both very unique and very good.
