My boyfriend and I went to this bar. The service was horrible. We sat there for 30 mins with empty glasses waiting to order more beer. The waitress was too busy talking with her friends. We tried getting her attention but nothing worked. My boyfriend tried saying excuse me loudly and he was even trying to wave to get her attention. We were lucky we were even able to get the check. We had started a tab with our credit card but she told us it was a 10 dollar minimum. Funny we had planned on staying and having more drinks but with service like that we would have had to stay there till the next morning to be waited on enough to add up to $10. It doesnt take much for us to have fun but we definitely will not be going back to crossroads!

My husband and I came from South Carolina to see a show here and we had such a great time! From the minute we walked in, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. We got there early and ate dinner. I got the veggie pizza which was pretty big, it was fresh and tasted amazing! The venue is nice and clean. The string lights on the stage are a nice touch, too. The show we went to was pretty packed, and when the owner found out that we had traveled a long way, he was so nice and got us a signed poster and my favorite shot. My husband and I were just so pleased at how sweet everyone was. I would definitely come back if we didnt live 10 hours away! :)

* The Family that owns and runs Crossroads are wonderful people and very supportive of the Arts in all its creative forms namely music * The food is unique not just to this area and the bartenders , waiters and waitresses very friendly . The neighborhood is safe in the nice little town of Garwood in between Cranford and Westfield on the North Side of the New Jersey Transit Raritan Valley Line Tracks where theres a train station with a varrying schedule though NJT Buses run both ways more regularly . . .

Saw a live Jazz/Ska show there with my wife a while back. Food was amazing, although you dont have to so shy with the hot sauce, some of us like it mo hotter mo better. Seriously though, legit high quality cajun food in NJ with good music... On a good night, this place easily outclasses most of the night life Ive seen anywhere in the world.

Cool venue with lots of bar space and good local acts. Drinks are fairly priced and the food looked great, although I didnt have a chance to try it. Waitstaff was friendly. I visited during the week, so I dont know what its like on the weekend.

Great intimate space for up and coming artists. Saw a battle of the bands show here, which was so cool. I only had drinks here, but the food looked to be pretty good as well. Clean bathrooms. Id definitely see a show here again!

nice place to hang and listen to live bands. Good food and atmosphere. They do however make the drinks weak... ( ALOT OF ICE AND MINIMAL LIQOUR) I guess they want to save money on the alcohol or it could be a liability issue
