Excellent service, owner/manager was fantastic, food was excellent...only reason I didnt rate is as "Loved it" was that its not what I thought (and yes, I realize thats my problem, but let me explain). My wife and I wanted to find the most authentic Indian restaurant in the area. At the time, Palace of Asia held our top spot. IndeBlue is very trendy and has sort of a fusion-thing going on. Not many Indians there when we went. In fact, I didnt see anyone from that part of the world dining there (we did go on Valentines Day, so that may have been part of the equation.) So, dine here with absolute confidence that you will get excellent food, but it will not have quite the level of authenticity as Palace of Asia (we later dined at Indiya - Flavors of India and found that to have a similar ambiance/approach.) not will it be as reasonably priced. My two cents. If you do try it, youre NOT going to leave without having enjoyed a very good meal.

When it comes to Indian food, Ive always preferred the no-frills over the upscale establishments. Sure, I enjoyed the ambiance of Cafe Spice in Philadelphia, but I left a bit disappointed in having dropped $80 when I could have been just as satisfied in spending $40 at a Gagan Bistro or Palace of Asia. Well, theres a new Indian restaurant in town that challenges to bring a combination of the two, and its called IndeBlue (no rhyme intended). It is a small Indian restaurant that has quaint ambiance, modest prices, and a modern twist on classic Indian dishes. Have you ever sat in your favorite Indian restaurant and thought "Its a shame that they dont have more customers"? I know I have. Well, the guys at IndeBlue must be doing something right, because in their first week of business they have managed to fill the place. I know because Ive been there three times this week. I have a new favorite Indian restaurant, and I implore you to check it out.

This was my second time to the Philly location. The food is absolutely amazing. Prices are more than reasonable. The staff goes well above and beyond! I took a good friend out for their birthday this week. For dessert I mentioned that it was their birthday and asked for a candle. The waitress said no problem. The waitress kept coming back to apologize for the wait which I thought was more than ok since we needed a break from the large dinner. Upon the arrival of our dessert she apologized for the wait again and mentioned they had to go out to purchase candles. Wow!! This blew me away and on top of that I wasnt even charged for the dessert due to the birthday. You never find service this good anywhere anymore! 5 star restaurant and Ill be going back often! Great bartender as well!

The ONLY thing that i loved about this place was the decor inside and out. It was beautiful. There are different regions of India that produce different flavors. IndeBlue seems to use more runny red tomato sauce with spice. I eat Punjabi style food which is creamier and less acidic. The difference in the style of the food at IndeBlue compared to what Im used to eating and love will keep me from returning. Their food is true to their region but I prefer Punjabi style more. Ill keep driving to either one of the Ekta restaurants in PA if Im going to be paying so much for an authentic Indian dish that lives up to the flavors that I expect.

The food was excellent, as many have attested to. However, Id rather comment on the service which was exemplary. One of the people in our party ordered something that was hotter than they expected. A waiter, not our own, noticed the expression on her face and came over. He didnt ask her if she wanted something else (putting the onus of the request on her), rather said, "Please, allow me to have the chef make you a dish that is not as hot", and thus she didnt have to feel bad about asking to have something else made, and the second go at the dish was just right (although, I tried the hotter version and thought it was bangin)

Why do they even call it indian restaurant ? Dont know why and who gave them these high rating and awards. They hardly have anything indian on their menu. The curry over here are awful, they use the same gravy to prepare lamb, chicken and dal. Ridiculous, to say the least. For non indians or someone who do not like hot/spicy food, i would recommend Palace of Asia or Monsoon Indian Cuisine. They are lot better in taste, service and worth the money.

Been going there for years, Even before they relocated from across the street. My other half and I ate there 3 to four times a month. We would always order our food at different spice levels. One would be spicy and one always MILD. The last three times weve been there the staff ignored the request of MILD spicing and just brought out very hit spicy dishes. Today was our LAST visit to the India Blue restaurants....

This place is overrated. It is very expensive and the food is nasty. I ordered chicken masala it was a lot of rice with almost no chicken and with a lot of sauce like rice tomato soup with extra curry. The server kept asking if we wanted more bread we said yes, we thought it was complementary; it was not. we pay for bread alone $16.00 The bill was $110.00 plus tip. It was pure ripoff, not worthy at all.

Date night will never be the same again. My wife and I enjoyed a dinning experience that was second to none, that feature East Indian cuisine to boot. The wonderful staff truly brandished 5 star professionalism and the chef/s behind the scenes crossed every "t" and dotted every "i" matching the excellence found out front. I urge other restaurant owners to visit and see how high the bar has been set.

Absolutely the best Indian I have ever had. I have been to the Philadelphia location also but Collingswood is where I frequent because its closest to me. The drums of heaven and crispy cauliflower are great appetizers. My new favorite dish is the malahi kafta bukhara. Its a vegetarian dish. You can ask your entrees with your preferred level of spiciness too. I never leave disappointed.

My family and I went to this restaurant to hear our cousin perform live. The food was exceptional. Service was above and beyond and well, the entertainment during Sunday brunch was wonderful!! I would recommend IndeBlue to anyone looking for something different than the normal boring eggs for brunch!! Fantastic!! Thank you IndeBlue for welcoming us and treating us like family.

This place is great because all the chicken is boneless. Sauces are delicious, and they let you pick your own heat level. In some other Indian restaurants I have been to, the "mild" has been too spicy, but Inde Blues mild is actually mild and has no heat whatsoever- just the way I like it! I recommend the chicken makhani - absolutely delicious and price is reasonable too.

We dined at Inde Blue during restaurant week (last week in July). Bar the good service and food, we were placed at a table in the center of the floor closest to the front door. There was a leak from the air conditioning duct above us. It kept seeping onto my shoulder. When questioned about switching to another table, they just shifted our table closer to the door traffic.
