This place was horrible, the only thing that was good was the service. Poor guys... The guacamole had a good taste but its not the way guacamole should be. It shouldnt be 50% avocado, 49% tomato, & 1% etc..... IT"S GUACAMOLE IT SHOULD BE MORE OF THE AVOCADO!!!!!! It was chunky & it shouldnt be chunky. As for the food, I ordered asado de puerco with rice and beans. Okay, the rice was sticky and wet with a pea flavor. the beans were good. Now I cant say the same about the asado, it had a horrible pork smell. It also had a sweet taste.Bad all together. Now I have never gone to an Mexican place and they not serve you tortillas... and that was the case with this place! I mean no disrespect to the people that own this place but it was bad. I live in texas and Im mexican, when I walked out of this place I was sad to have this place represent mexican food. But I really think they are on the right track just need some help on there cooking.

I ordered take out, so cant really comment on the decor. The guy who took and prepared my order was super helpful and efficient. However, this is by far THE worst Mexican food I have ever had. I ordered the empanadas and the chile relleno (for $15.95!). The empanadas were almost impossible to swallow as the dough was so thick and barely filled with any filling. The experience was sort of how Id imagine trying to swallow paste with about as much flavor. The chile relleno had a such a horrible egg smell, that it was hard to try to actually put it in your mouth. I tried, but the taste was so disgusting that combined with the egg smell, it ended up in the trash with the empanadas after the first bite. Such a waste of money. Ive had much, much better at chain Mexican restaurants. Avoid this place!

This restaurant is an absolute delight. Its a homey space and real estate is limited but each seat is gold. Service and decor are fantastic. The chips and salsas to start were so savory. We ordered the guac & empanadas as apps. Best guac I have ever had at a restaurant. The avocado was chunky and fresh. empanadas light & crispy. I ordered the Tampiqueno. What was placed in front of me was a dream. Each component was perfect. The carne asada was tender and buttery. I was so full I actually kept dipping my fork in the enchilada sauce because I couldnt stop enjoying. The store next door is a wonderland too. I discovered Fresco Mexican on my phone map as we were passing through the area. I was looking for good mexican food and I found amazing cuisine. Dont pass this place up.

I have been to this place a few times (having recently located to the area) and at first was very impressed with the food and service. After visiting the place a few other times I noticed a decline in the food quality. Living in NY for most of my life I had a chance to experience authentic Mexican food. As others have stated, the cost is a bit pricy (which I dont mind if the food is on par) but having visited the place a few times I realized either there are different cooks that use certain ingredients and or they have abandoned previous ingredients for money purposes and or just dont care as they have a solid customer base with nearly no competition in the area. Service still is great, but with overpriced items and food quality on the decline I would not recommend.

Greedy owners... I got a $17 Sangria Chicken salad and it was sparse at best - thrown together with what seemed like ingredients they just needed to get rid of (candied pecans with orange slices, romaine lettuce and some avocado). Honestly, if it was $9 I wouldnt be complaining - not happy but not complaining. My husband had the quesadilla, which was fine, but it was $14. The kind of food they serve is much more family style Mexican, which is great and fine but not for the price they charged. Our meal and a jalapeno appetizer (with 3 jalapenos in it?) and two seltzers came to $45. For lunch. Insane. Never again.

Very solid food, but most important, a great atmosphere and excellent service. Whether you decide to dine inside in their beautifully tiled interior with a friendly bar, or outside at one of the gorgeous mosaic tables where you can watch the hustle and bustle of Chester go by, you wont be disappointed. Showed up recently with a party of 8 and they handled it with aplomb - the service was attentive, prompt, and everyone got exactly what they ordered (including substitutions and customizations). Id definitely recommend this for a great Mexican spot in its local radius.

Exquisite dining experience at most affordable price. Down to earth, friendly family vibe makes this place a fav pit stop when you want to satisfy your cravings for nativeMexican to the core dining and want to stay within your budget. The flan is delicious. The food is always fresh and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. This is my sweet spot. Keep up the good work Im new in town and this is were I Bring my friends and clients from now on. Thanks for creating a cozy place to enjoy with friends and family.

Excellent Mexican cuisine, served in a large dining room. Service is quick, food is excellent and always served at the same quality. This is a BYOB. They do have margaritas, staff is attentive but not pushy. They have a beautiful store next door that sells Mexican themed arts and items for the home. This place does tend to get busy, but empties fast. I would browse next door while you wait. They have Mexican coke and jaritos sodas.

They are so accommodating to your needs, we had a baby with us. The food is always 5 star as is the service. Consistent and right on top of your needs....example, I tasted the tea and the server overheard me tell my daughter it was very sweet. All of a sudden he presented me with a new tea (same kind) unsweetened with the option to use sugar. This place is a MUST TRY for visitors and would be a regular if we lived here.

Fresco Mexican was one of the most beautiful restaurants Ive ever had the pleasure to encounter, quick service and great employees. But I would also recommend some "real Mexican" cooks for a more "Fresco Mexican" experience.... Now lets talk about the owner, Marco Rojas; this particular guy has pretty much the whole system under control but...

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant ever. The food is homemade and fresh, and the staff is really friendly. We often order the Caldo Tlalpeño to start, and I love the Tampiqueña—skirt steak, a pork tamal, and a chicken enchilada—and a hibiscus tea! We especially like sitting outside when the weather is nice.

Love this place. Really well done Mexican food. Went back after being in Florida for 6 months. The owner was there welcoming you. Very attentive. very professional. Owner offers cooking lessons at his other restaurant in Flanders. He has a lot of experience and a desire to please. Going to be a success here.

Without a doubt, my favorite restaurant in Chester. AUTHENTIC Mexican cuisine...not fast food staples. Great owners, staff and service. Try the hibiscus iced tea. Carne Asada...delicious! The freshest salsas and sauces. In nice weather...sit outside!
