We arrived 10 minutes before close, and the waiter seemed to mind, for she had a monotone voice which we couldnt hear. I had asked for a Blazing Berry Sangría, to no receipt, because even though I am of age, the ID said "UNDER 21." The waiter continued our order without a comment, a while later, a manager comes and asks to see my ID for the waiter had not trusted it to be valid, which it didnt expire for another 4 months. He said he couldnt serve me the drink for his own "Safety." This waiter had no respect to even return or let me know she wasnt sure about the ID, which I foundnot only dishonest but disrespectful, and I dont understand how I could be 21 and be refused a drink. Anyway our drinks and food came, I got a water, and our order was disappointing. My wife received a Medium-rare steak, which she wanted only medium, and I got a plain sweet potatoe which I ordered to be "loaded." The service was horrible because the waiters foul attitude towards us, she seemed as though I said multiple profanities to her, and threatened her life, for she either hates her job or just simply has a bad attitude. This business is one were communication is key and this waitress mumbled when she spoke couldnt hear her and seemed annoyed when we asked her to repeat herself. Well anyways, I left her with a awesome tip for her "awesome" attitude... " dont eat yellow snow"

I have been a resident of Flanders Nj for 4+ years. This is an area that is very limited in its number of quality restaurants. Its frustrating for someone who really enjoys good food. I have eaten at Longhorn a number of times and have never been very impressesd. some meals have been better than others. I had not been there in quite a while and decided to pick up lunch on my day off Thursday. Rib Eye steak, french fries and salad.....$32......not cheap. Upon arrival at home I found a hunk of overcooked meat that did not even resemble a rib eye steak. I would have needed the "cyber knife" from the hospital to cut through this petrified piece of mule that they served. The nice par was that is marinated in A**, so it smelled like the inside of a locker room. It went well with the brown lettuce and frozen french fries. Macdonalds would have been an upgrade!!! I made the mistake of calling the restaurant in my frustration with lunch (I was hungry), which was an excersise in futility. After all the do search the finest trailer parks in the area for their waitress and hostess staff. Do your stomach a favor....STAY AWAY!!!

We are celebrating my parents anniversary, this place is empty, they took 14 minutes until the waiter came up to serve us. We order a bottle of wine glass came in but no wine lol after 10 minutes. He didnt brought water or offer us bread, After bringing our appetizers and we finished eating it, he came back with the salads and didnt even bother to remove the dirty plates. We arrive at 8:00pm and its 9:20PM and we havent get the main course. What can we expect from this service.... after waiting for a longtime we still have the dirty dishes on the table. No view anywhere of the waiter, we did not get offer if we wanted water... Food is very delicious, but this problem isnt about the food, no good service, no customers for now on. Im very disappointed with this restaurant. What a mistake to bring my parents to this restaurant!!!! On a special night for them for a 35th anniversary. Are you Hispanic, African American? Dont go there they will not welcome you there as like other customers we should be treated equally. thats how it happened to us tonight, thats how we felt.. Manager? No sights of him anywhere....

Very quickly seated. Impressed by the hostess and he ability to discern the guys in my group were not going to fit in a booth. Ordered the stuffed mushrooms which seemed to be regular stuffed mushrooms with an wine blended cheese sauce added in the serving dish. Good but not great. The onion peel dish was similar to everyother restaurants offering with equally pedestrian sauce. The baby back ribs looked good and the wet wash cloth was a nice touch. The chop steak was ordered without a topping but the wine sauce topping was added non the less. My dinner partner dared not send it back even after the waitress request. The steakhouse burger was served without condiments however the patty was considerable size and properly cooked to medium. The waitress quickly provided condiments and all was well. Several nice cuts on the menu but not tonight. I enjoy this chain and will visit it the future.

Longhorne is probably the only Chain restaurant I will visit. For what it is, its pretty good. Decent food, craft beer (thats a must) and a nice family style environment. The service was very nice, our server was attentive and he was very friendly. I had the sirloin with a baked sweet potato, my husband had the ribeye and we were both pleased with our meal. Our kids for the most part enjoyed their selections from the kids menu, all but the mashed potatoes which has an unusual taste to them (maybe they are instant IDK) that we have never tasted, so those stayed on the plate uneaten. If you are going to visit a chain restaurant, this is your best bet.

Have been to this location for lunch. It was great but w hen we went for dinner on a Friday night, the service wasnt good. Our drinks came after our apps had arrived. Our friends odered more drinks so they would have something to drink with dinner. My drink wasnt even mixed (had to use a fork because didnt get a stirrer or straw). Food was ok. Not cooked the way we ordered it. Well done came with a pink center for example on one of our dinners Loaded baked potatoe wasnt loaded. When dinner was finished it took 20 minutes for the waiter to return with our change. We dont know what happened!

I craved meat, and received meat at this location. It was slightly above the average cookes meat, but not highly above the average cooked meat. It cost an above average amount of the money, and the sides were of mediocre quality. I received mashed potatoes that reminded me of spacle due to their consistency and odd pliability. I may or may not eat here again. I should note that the service members are kind and the decor is of fairly high quality. My experience was of the average quality. Hence the three out of the five stars.

Their steaks are consistent. Also for lunch the steak sandwiches are pretty good. And their parmesan garlic fries are the best Ive had. I also remember having a Western Cheese Fries which are crispy fries loaded with all-beef chili, melted cheddar & Monterrey jack, bacon and jalapeños! I didnt see it on the menu of late, but those were really good too. My friends have ordered salads and the portion is always so huge, nobody finishes it, but they do enjoy it.

Stopped by for a bite to eat with a group of 5. Waiter was pleasant, food was good. They did end up making mistakes with one order twice (first time wrong size (smaller) steak, second time they rushed new steak out and it was undercooked, barely rare). They were awesome though and comped both that steak and our appetizer. Did take a while for them to take our payment, but overall not a bad meal.
