I took few of my senior friends to try Indian cousin. I went over all the items in the buffet. One sign was, Vegetable Biriyani. Being vegetarian, my husband and I took it, but mean while they realized the mistake, and change few of the tags, without telling us. The Biriyani was chicken biriyani. I did not want to make fuss in presence of guests, I called the manager in the evening,he had left for the day, talked to Eknath, and was assure , Ajay, manager, will get back to me, next day-was yesterday. But have not heard from him yet - two days. He knew the mistake, since I had asked him about zukini aloo vegetable- as per sign, but it was cabbage and the sign was changed. Be careful of being fooled by misrepresentation of the sighs or their mistakes , you may end up eating wrong food. I still feel terrible eating something against my religion and belief. What would happen, if someone is gravely allergic to some thing? I gave enough time to get back to me, the owner and the manager is really guilty.

I was fed up going to Indian Restaurants after trying few restaurants in NJ around somerville area. I went to "Masala Art" restaurant with thoughts about food in my mind on 9th September 2012, sunday Buffet. Food was excellent. Appreciation to your chef. Recommend my friends and others to visit the restaurant.a Vegetarian dishes( 6 itmes) and Non-Vegetarian(three items) , desert , Starters etc., were all good. Preparing with utmost care for customers should be the driving factor for chefs running restaurants and the chef has done an amazing work!!!

We just ate there tonight. I have to say wow, and thats not something I ever say about Indian food since Im so critical of it. We ordered the dal makhni, tandoori chicken (fell off the bone it was perfect), chicken makhni (cut up into nice edible pieces), lamb tikka masala (perfect), chicken curry (amazing) raita, naan, onion kulcha and rice. They gave the rice, tomato and papadum with the order. Which a lot of places charge for. Our order was perfect and everything tasted great. We were very impressed and well definitely be dining here again.

We went with a group of 5 on a Tuesday night. There was one other big group in the restaurant when we arrived. We waited 20 minutes before our order was taken and didnt receive our food until an hour later. Customers who arrived after us were served before us. I had been to this restaurant a couple years back and remember liking the flavors and being impressed. This time, the food was bland. Maybe theres been a change of chef or management. Not going back.

Im not an expert on Indian food by any means but we went here to try it out and were very pleased. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and the place was clean and well decorated to make you feel you were in a different place (im assuming India, have never been there). The server was around enough in case we needed anything but not so much so where it was annoying. The food was excellent (again no expert) and would come back.

A typical Indian restaurants you would find in a strip mall......mediocre food, at best average ambience. The friend I came with asked for some take out and changed her mind once, they werent too happy about it and made it particularly obvious which points to below average customer care. So overall nothing mentionable..

BY FAR the best Indian food Ive had across the country. Their chicken tikka masala is my absolute favorite, and the tandoori fish in fantastic! Great variety of naan, too. Friendly staff and a clean and elegant dining area. 12 out of 10, would and have gone back again... multiple times.

Decent Indian food at a reasonable cost, good for take out or dine in. Considering the limited options for Indian food in Hunterdon & Somerset, this is one of the better choices. Dont expect to attain culinary nirvana, that feeling is reserved for some Indian restaurants in Edison NJ

We eat indian food quite a bit and boy are we happy this place opened near us. Reasonable prices and the food is always great, whether eat in or take out. Very glad its nearby. We thought we had another favorite indian restaurant but I think this trumped the previous.

Staff is helpful but unobtrusive, food is top notch and consistent. Id strongly recommend coming for the lunch buffet so you can try a bunch of different things and see what you like. We regularly bring our guests here and so far theyve all been fans.

Way below par for a Indian Restaurant in NJ. Ambience is dim lighted, congested place with a strange musty smell. Food is as bland as it comes and the dinner serving seems to be coming from lunch leftovers..stale. Never going back !!

A very tasty Indian restaurant, hidden in a strip mall on US 202 north. The food is deliciously prepared and authentic. They have a buffet lunch (if you like that) and can serve large parties, although the space is modest in size.

Great Indian food. Beware the vegetable pakora though... I thought there was okra in the mix, but it turned out to be a very hot pepper. Still delicious though.

Service was slow. Samosas soggy. Chutneys were good as were the main courses & Baan. If you are out at night in the vicinity this is not a bad place to end up.

The only decent indian restaurant around branchburg and outside of edison. Wed is buffet day. ~$15/person. They change one or two dishes up every week or so.

Good Indian food. I think the menu items might be better and spicer than the buffet but all is still good.
