I went a few weeks ago and had an excellent experience. The food was very delicious and the owner was very nice and gave great costumer service. So because of this, I went back again a few days ago. The owner wasnt there this time, but his wife was, and she was completely different as far as costumer service was concerned. Every time I spoke with her she was rude to a minor degree. With one instance I would consider it a misunderstanding on my part, but with several instances I could tell that she was being passive aggressive with me. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to respectfully call and complain about the costumer service that I received. Lo and behold, the owners wife answered the phone. Despite the fact that I tried to use a respectful tone, she immediately protested against my complaint. She excused herself by telling me that it was very busy (No, no it wasnt, I was the only one in the line and only about 8 other people were at the tables). Instead of apologizing, she tells me (to paraphrase), "what happened happened and nothing will change that." When she asked what I wanted to be done about it, I told her that all I wanted was an apology. She proceeded to give me the most evidently insincere apology ever, and then she tries to hang up the phone after saying "have a nice day," also in an insincere tone. Before she hung up, I managed to say to her, "see, I dont think you are sorry," which really annoyed her. She told me that out of a thousand customers that day, I was the only one who was unhappy with their service. The owners wife ended the conversation by telling me (to paraphrase), "dont come back or come back it doesnt matter, have a nice day," and then she hung up the phone. Having worked in customer service myself before, I not only can sympathize about the job, but I also understand how customer service works. I know that even when its busy youre supposed to keep your wits about yourself and provide good customer service anyway. Also, if a customer ever complains about anything, you approach their complaint as respectfully as possible, REGARDLESS of whether or not you think that theyre in the wrong. I will not be returning to the cafe again.

I live very close to the coffee grinder cafe, and have been going there since high school, and while the food is great there are several concerns that I have built up over the years. Here comes the compliment sandwich 1. Good: Fantastic bagels, sandwiches and hearty breakfast on the go food. 2. Bad: The hours - sometimes they aretn open in the afternoon which is a bummer if I want to grab a snack without driving and also they sometimes take off for weeks on the holidays, being completely closed is a bummer. I guess its an open faced compliment sandwich.

Nice bagel shop, Lousy, Rude service. I ordered a bacon, egg & cheese breakfast sandwich and no ketchup when asked; When my sandwich was handed to me, it had ketchup on it and the owner insisted in a confrontational manner that I ordered ketchup when I havent ordered ketchup on not even a hamburger my entire life!! Bagels suck too!!

Great spot for a quick bite - fresh coffee, friendly staff, and good breakfast sandwiches! Theres definitely a sense here that theres a "Usual Crowd," which is a nice feeling.

First time. Service was friendly, food was fresh and fast. We did not eat at peak hours. I would not describe it as cozy, its a deli with a few tables.

This is my go to breakfast place. Its right around the corner, they make their bagels fresh and they have good coffee to compliment it.

The only downside is the $10 minimum on credit card purchases. Otherwise Ive always been happy with the food and friendly staff.
