Service at this restaurant is abysmal. They were so significantly understaffed for a holiday weekend I had to wait 30 mins to get a basic cup of coffee. There was only 1 woman responsible for cooking all of the eggs and she was about 10 tickets deep, with no strategy to assist her with the onslaught of customers. In addition the cafe opted to keep the a/c off despite the high humidity which made the wait for food and drinks all the more unbearable. To top everything off, a set of obnoxious customers arrived about 20 mins into our visit demanding their usual table, even going so far as getting the cook out of the kitchen to tend to their selfishness. Management should be embarrassed in their inability to appropriately staff and train their service team, as well as their incompetence to treat customers fairly.

Three big negatives: Ordered their Turkey Bacon and Cheese Omelette, was halfway into eating it and I realized there was no bacon in it, told the waiter, and I was brought a small dish of dry old microwaved bacon bits where the dish was so hot from the microwave you couldnt even hold it. I would have preferred another omelette with bacon cooked in. Also, the toast served with the omelette was certainly a common bread anyone can buy at a grocery store for sandwiches, and it wasnt even toasted past the point of being soft bread. Oh, and the small salad that comes with the omelette was topped with generic honey mustard dressing. Really nothing was done at this restaurant that someone could very easily do at home. Certainly not worth $10+.

This cafe is a slice right out of Europe. Many coffee shops in the US will have European names or themes, but none of them really nail the European experience the way this place does. They usually tend to be poor knock offs. This cafe however is European in every way possible. From the tubed sugar packets, to the wall menu, to the drinks and food items, to the seating is exactly the way it is in Europe. Even the hours of operation are very European! For someone whos been to Europe multiple times this place can make you nostalgic.

Ordered a decaf latte, iced tea and a slice of the cherry hazelnut cake to go. Decaf latte was burnt, arrived home and my slice of cherry hazelnut was not cherry hazelnut but some cake with chocolate chips. I spent nearly $15, I understand people make mistakes but if you are going to charge this much your customers shouldnt be posting these types of negative reviews.

Best date spot in Princeton. Pros: Interior, coffee, tea, food, seating, and staff are all truly lovely. Cons: Quite expensive, but its worth it as a treat. Conclusion: They dont do much, but boy, are they good at it. Great for first dates, or for writing letters, or for listening to the composers next to you chat about their recent work.

This place is a class act. Relaxed and well designed interior. Attentive and polite staff. Consistently excellent coffee and food with care on presentation. Extremely clean. In my opinion, this is the best cafe in Princeton (and Small World Coffee is no slouch either).

You have to understand that this is family owned as far as the service goes. Its a charming spot. Order what they recommend, dont try and get some highly customized thing. These places make no money, so order what is on the menu and enjoy the food and beauty.

Cafe Vienna had awesome service and atmosphere, very good coffee (I recommend the Viennen Eiskaffe) and Austrian historic themed dish names that history buffs will love!

pretty good omelet! I reccommend the berliner. However, the cheese in the hawaiian omelet was too strong, and my friend had to wait for her omelet for twenty minutes.
