First time guest. The staff was amazingly helpful and prompt. The food was flavorful. Almost too much... We had a large party and needed to add more tables and chairs. They worked around the other reservations to accommodate us as swiftly as possible. Our food was all brought out in a timely fashion except for the main entree, where half of our 20 person group was waiting about 5-10 minutes longer for their food. The food variety and freshness was stellar. The combinations of flavor I wouldnt have thought of turned out to be overwhelming at times. My crab cake came with a side of mashed sweet potatoes, and was covered in a sauce that covered the entire meal. The crab cake had great herb flavor, but lacked the actual meat to taste enough crab that warrants being called a crab cake. Sadly, too much filler. I will return and try some of the other selections on the menu.

A special treat, with good food to eat. My #1 go-to is the Crispy Skin Chicken. I have no idea how they make chicken so juicy, but it is. Love their risotto too, but prefer the simpler/basic flavor varieties. They use the freshest food when in season, so be aware the menu changes as food availability does too. Friends have raved about their scallops too when available. This is our #1 Bordentown Choice. ALWAYS call to reserve a table. Its small and often full. Service is always good but sometimes slow as the food is cooked to order. BE PATIENT, this is a leisurely dinner spot, NOT Mickey-Ds..and thank god for that! If youre looking for a quick bite, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. (Super and affordable lunches as well!)

My boyfriend and I visited this place about 2 weeks ago and found the venue charming and the food good. I would recommend making a reservation if you plan on showing up Thurs - Sun. The menu choices were interesting, the amount of choices was not overwhelming (which I appreciate) and the food is appealing. If youre looking for a classy, intimate evening with others this is a great place to try. The staff is knowledgeable and very accommodating. Dont forget to BYOB.

Fantastic BYOB restaurant with absolutely wonderful food, including the desserts made by one of the waitresses there. There weekday burger menu is absolutely delicious and very affordable. The weekend menu is very upscale and a great place to go for a nice evening out.

My sister-in-law and I had dinner there on a Wednesday night when the menu is more casual. Had a beautiful table, place was decked out for Valentines Day. Our waiter could not have been more attentive. I had the best hamburger ever. Would go back in a minute.

Food was very good, people were friendly, but the service was incredibly slow and inconsistent. 45 minute ticket time for dinner, no bread on the table while others got it, I had to ask for a water refill after my glass sat empty on the table for half an hour.

We had a decent experience. The food was incredible but the wait service was very slow. Our waiter took 30 minutes (I timed it) between getting our drink order and ordering our food. We (a table of 4) got there at 7:45 and didnt leave until 10:15.

Very expensive! For the price I expected better. Soup was mediocre, salad was ok, mushroom bruschetta was very good, main course was very good and the desert was excellent. Wait staff was just ok. Portions were small. Overall just average.

It took a whole hour to get our main entrees. The salmon didnt have any butter or any flavor what-so-ever. I could have personally made better mashed potatoes than this. Im honestly very disappointed in the service AND the food.

Never disappointed! Restaurant is small and seating is limited. Reservations recommended. Every item I have tried on the menu has been awesome. Burger night is amazing. I recommend taking a dessert home if you run out of room.

Went here for a birthday meal loved it. Great little restaurant. Clean food was a little slow but its all made to order. Was burger night and the presentation was great. Burger while not the best around was quiet good.

Delicious food at prices that befit the quality of meal you are getting with your meal. I enjoy the BYOB, but would have enjoyed a lottle more if they had wine in house. Otherwise, not a complaint to be had.

Great service. The girl, the young guy and the bald guy were all polite and knowledgeable. Food was excellent! We ordered the 3 courses for $35, Soup, Mussels, and Hanger Stake were all great.
