Paulette is a quaint little french cafe with friendly hosts. This past Saturday I was looking for a spot to sit outside to work on my book and was so happy I stumbled into this little joint. Ive yet to try their eats, but will be back very soon and am inclined to by its chill and cozy atmosphere. The most encouraging aspect of this experience was after I finished my espresso the waitress came out to check up on me. She honed in on my body-language, which mustve said, "uh oh, time to go," and immediately said, "No, please stay. Relax. Were very French here," and offered me a glass of water. To some, this may seem like a small thing, but in a city where you feel rushed every minute of your life, its nice to know theres a place where you can actually stop and enjoy. If thats very French, then I should visit France very soon.

great experience and amazing food. Saya, our server, made my night, and made my dining experience the best I have ever had, and thats no exaggeration. I will drive two hours as often as I can for the amazing food and his service. This is my favorite restaurant and nothing before, or in the future could ever top the experience we were given. Ive never had French food before... but Im glad I experimented because it was, from this restaurant specifically, some of the most delicious and well cooked (or perfectly raw like the tartare)... melt in your mouth amazing. Do not ever pass up on going here, you will only be depriving yourself from an amazing experience.

If you have children, DO NOT dine here. We used to love Cafe Paulette. But now that were bringing our child, weve been shut out. Today, at about 5:30 pm, we stopped by with a stroller. There were three open booths and several open tables. The host, a guy named Lauren, refused to seat us. "No room for the stroller" he said. We pointed to the many open tables. "Were going to be busy tonight... Theres gonna be a lot of people" he said. We then offered to break down our stroller and stow it in the corner. "I dont know, maybe" he said. That was it. We left Lauren and his empty restaurant. Good-bye Cafe Paulette. Were never coming back.

------Brunch review--------- +++ - The French press coffee was phenomenal - The juice of the day was orange/beet...It tasted like I was actually eating fresh oranges and beets; Im not the biggest fan of beets - Wife enjoyed the croque monsieur ++ - Good place to watch French soccer - Hachis Parmentier (Shephards pie) was nice and buttery - The portion was big, I was not hungry again until well into the evening - Easy to find a table around noonon a Sunday

The wine list is wonderful, the ambiance is authentic, and the staff is warm, friendly, and are pros. Cafe Paulette has become a family favorite (were there at least once a week) P.S. it would be churlishness ah of me to not recommend their brunch... simply because I dont want to risk never getting a table but, its very good ;-)

Wine selection is really good Staff is friendly and prepared to give you advices Food is precise, delightful, fresh and truly french Ambiance is just right. The sister restaurant right next door, "Crêpes Paulette" is great for a bite on the go or a simpler diner experience.

We should have known something was wrong when the wine glasses brought to the table were smeared with lipstick. A lasagna special tasted like re-heated school cafeteria food. My wife, our friend and I all got sick from the dinner we had there. Avoid at all costs!

Real bisro very cute place with about 1o small tables and a bar. Nice big windows to the park. Dont expect super fast service and meaningless smiles and a huge menu. But easy to choose dishes, good but not posh wines, slower pace. perfect to relax.

Neighborhood gem, friendly and professional staff, awesome wine selection, yummy food. Highly recommended before or after BAM for dinner, or even during the day, looking at the park across the street.

A nice little French bistro that offers a nice selection of items. There is limited seating and its a bit cramped. Unfortunately my omelette was overcooked and the coffee was cold.
