I really do love the staff. Theyve always been very accommodating. They get a chance to shine more when the restaurant is slow. Thats when you can joke around with them and have a great time. Theyre really down to earth and friendly. Service does get a bit slower at times when the restaurant is busy, but remember, small staff. Come here to enjoy a meal, not to speed through and rush off. These meals are worth lingering over. There are very few tables, and you will be very close to the people next to you. Also, my one complaint is that its cash only. There are ATMs close by, so its not a huge problem, but it isnt as convenient as Id like.

One of my favorite places in New York let alone Astoria. The crepes and quiche are simply amazing. Ive been four or five times and havent been disappointed yet. My favorite though is the chicken, sautéed vegetables, and goat cheese crepe. The steamed muscles are excellent when theyre on the menu. Get there early if you want the ham and cheese quiche and make sure you bring your own beer or wine since they dont have alcohol for sale. Food World, right under the train, has a good selection of beer including Chimay - a nice compliment to crepes. Save room for dessert. ;-) Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

With t swirl competing with eight turn in the city, I think my winner is t swirl. If youre more of a quantity person, eight turn tends to pack their crepes with a little more oomph than t swirl. However, I prefer the batter in t swirl more because the crepe is able to stay firm despite the ice cream and other toppings. If youre thinking French crepe this wont be what youre looking for because theyre pretty different. Though it might be a new type of crepe that youll be seeking out more often :)

Havent tasted anything on the menu thats disappointed me yet. Ive only ordered the crepes here, but theyve all been amazing so far. The thinness of the crepe itself is perfect - for me at least. The place is a little narrow and can sometimes feel a little cramped on busy days. The staff is very attentive and have had great recommendations. I only wish their pumpkin and apple cider crepe werent a seasonal item - its crazy good!

Love love love cafe triskell! I have been here more than 30 times and have never ordered anything that wasnt absolutely delicious. We have enjoyed: both sweet and savory crepes, muscles, Croque monsieur, corned beef hash, eggs Florentine, eggs nordic, chicken cordon bleu, frisee salad, goat cheese salad, escargot and According to my boyfriend, this is the best french onion in all of nyc. Highly recommended :-)

The best croque-monsieur Ive had outside of France. The chef is from Brittany and incorporates authentic regional flavor to all of his dishes. It is quite simply-delicious food. The crab cakes and mussels are a must try too. There are often amazing specials-that are truly top notch cuisine. Nice warm atmosphere where you can chat all night. Did I mention the crepes?

Been coming for a few years now ever since, my friend who is French recommended this place. It is my favorite brunch place. Small and cozy. Food is out of this world. My favorite is the Croque Madame, wife loves the quiche, my daughter loves the French toast. Tried there onion soup cause so many people said best ever, was not disappointed, soup was amazing.

The perfect Cafe! Seriously, in one sitting I had the best quiche, crepe, and french onion soup I ever had in my life. The espresso was also exceptional. The vibe is mellow and staff is nice. Wifi is blazing fast. Pricier than Starbucks, but worth every penny. I plan to make this my goto cafe from now on.

Hands down, the best croque-madame Ive ever eaten. The savory crepes are fantastic as well. Im usually not the biggest fan of sweet crepes, but their butter and sugar, which I initially thought was going to be kind of boring, was just amazing. Im a convert. The service is great to boot.

A very unassuming joint with few tables. Had the P.E.I. mussels a la Nage (w/ French fries) which were plump and tasty. As for the Croque Madame (sandwich w/ ham, Swiss cheese, béchamel sauce, plus egg), the egg was done very well, but the texture of the bread was way too mushy.

We ordered the french onion soup, croquet madame and shared a nutella banana crepe and we were not disappointed. This is a super cute place in Astoria, service is great and it had a decent wine selection. Unfortunately, they were out of most of their red wine selections.

Fantastic little french cafe. The Onion soup is beyond amazing and well worth the trip from anywhere in the city. They offer a perfect selection of crepes and other delicious dishes. On the weekends they have scrumptious brunch options including a special quiche.

Everything is delicious, the service is always helpful and the place is charming and lovely. Also, the music being played is always eclectic and terrific, but it is never too loud for good conversation. One of my favorite restaurants in the five boroughs.

No air-con. Overpriced for very average food. When there for the steak only to be told it was off. Wont be going back. However owners were very attentive and couldnt do enough for you.

Adorable small French place in Queens! The food was delicious and the staff was very kind. I had a croque monsier and an awesome hot chocolate :-)

Love this place for brunch or breakfast. The coffee is amazing and the food is great. Sadly, there is limited seating and cash only.

Love it. Small little place with amazing food. Price is very fair but portions are somewhat small but everything else is great

A little pricey, and portions are only just adequate, but the tiny spot feels very personal and everyone was very friendly

Budget for at least $30 if you want a filling meal. Very small portions and vastly overpriced for the quality.

Youd have no idea from the street that this place was hiding an amazing restaurant. The brunch here is amazing.

I had put 4 stars before I had the chance to taste their thin and crispy dessert crepe.

We came here a few times. Love the food, not the wait as this place is too popular.
