First let me say I have been here a few times and was usually satisfied with tjhe service/food. After visiting there 3/15/2014 I will never go back. I found a hair in my plate of food just as I started to eat. I barely ate any of it and not wanting to make a scene I told the waitress about it quietly. She apologized and said they would take the plate off the bill. When I got the check I saw they only took $4.00 off an $8.00 plate. I wasnt looking for a hand out but I dont feel as though I should pay for that plate. The total bill with the $4.00 off was over $42.00. The reason I was told they only took $4.00 off was "we dont know where the hair came from". It was a very short thin hair, no one at my table has hair any where on their body like that. I dont see how that is any excuse to justify charging me for that plate. Be warned, if theres hair in your food you will still pay for the plate even though its one of their hairs! Never again!

My new favorite diner in Jersey. Smaller dinner with very friendly staff and cheap food with big portions. The couple of times Ive had the Ragin Cajun omelette and breakfast quesadilla. Usual "cajun" dishes are just loaded with cumin but this was damn good and they didnt skip on loading the breakfast quesadilla with the goods. Even the simple things like burgers are fresh with plenty of bacon. Huge portions of home fries also. The good and bad is this place is about a 15 minute drive for us so it does prevent us from being here 5 times a week. I can see why this place has been voted best diner in South Jersey numerous times.

Great food, decent prices, and very friendly service. We came here for breakfast today. I had creamed chipped beef with home fries with onions and peppers. My husband had eggs benedict. We both enjoyed our breakfast and service was fast. I dropped my crutches on the floor and went to pick them up and our waitress insisted on picking them up. Very nice service. I highly recommend trying this diner. It is on the small side but its decorated cute inside.

Friendly staff. Great food. I ordered the Red White and Blue waffles and my family had pancakes, sausage, bacon, pork roll. Food was fresh and hot, tasted amazing. Waitress was very friendly. The diner gave out roses to the mothers who joined them that day. This diner is pro-military which always takes a place in our hearts so seeing that they offer combat wounded parking means a lot to us. Would highly recommend if youre in the area.

Had meals there at different times.... Breakfast, lunch ,dinner each visit produced excellent food....no matter what time of year,its been consistently good. I actually had one of the best steak dinners at this establishment for under $20. My only observation is that the tables for four become very cramped when everyones meals are served. Other than that ,its our go-to diner when in town.

The bacon tasted old & microwaved for sure. I ordered eggs Benedict with a side of fries instead of home fries. The fries were soggy & not even warm. In the end, my waitress was waiting expectantly & tried to take my plate from me as I was still eating off of it. Ive eaten here plenty of times & Im disappointed every time. No more "new" Berlin diner for me.

If you dont sit at the counter, you might feel crowded. I got the shrimp skewers. The shrimp was good, but the rice I ordered with is was soggy. Also, order the veggies without butter! It has good parking space, though, and I didnt like my stay, but others wil most likely like it, depending on your taste.

This diner does it right. Its just that simple really. The atmosphere is terrific, you feel like your at a friends house having dinner that had a really cool decorator design their dining room. The food was good - I always go for the specials anywhere I go. Here the food is always better than expected.

The food is great but a crazy waitress loudly accused me of having previously skipped out on a bill (never happened) in front of the entire diner, and continued chasing me down the street yelling after we left. This after paying our 75 dollar bill. It was scary and humiliating. Will never go back.

Servers are disgusting, smacking gum like a horse. Eggs are not fresh, bacon was from the early morning. Food is not fresh to say the least. Water cups had green mold in from un cleaned fountain nozzle. To say the least I do not recommend this place and will not be back.

A personal favorite diner for breakfast. The staff in the morning are hard working and friendly. Food is great, especially for the low prices. Good atmosphere. This review is based on their breakfast hours which I primarily go for. As for their evening hours, theyre ok.

Their food is great every time I come here. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, everything is consistently awesome. All the employees are friendly, service is great and you never wait long for a table even when its crowded. In my opinion is definitely the best diner in the area.

The food is always great at the New Berlin Diner. Best Diner is SJ is an understatement. As I read a review not to long ago, I would give this one 10 stars if I could. The portions are always to much to eat in one sitting, I love taking home the left overs.

Its a nice but small diner. Despite that I have never felt cramped in. Food is good and very reasonable on price and portion. What I most like is the less than traditional American diner menu items like the Lamb Burgers and Challah Bread French Toast.

Step back in time with a classic diner vibe, good portions, very fresh food cooked to order. Lots of parking in back. Try the corned beef Reuben with savory fresh sauerkraut and succulent corn beef. Great breakfasts and friendly staff.

The standard for good breakfasts. They have a pancake breakfast that I have been getting for years. My grandkids love it when I pick them up on the weekend for a day of pancakes and fishing. We always leave full and happy.

Dissapointed, daughter ordered a salad, was given a dirty plate. Asked for a new one, just put the food into a new one. Advised manager who slammed the dish after she took it away. Will not be going back.

I got a burger and it was awful. It is not hard to mess up a burger. The decor is old and very unattractive. I am very surprised that they were on NBC Foodies because I will never go back.

Would rate higher just for breakfast. But dont go for dinner. 1 out of seven in our party liked their meal. Hard to screw up a burger though. Twice there for dinner. Never again.

Friendly "old time" diner. Great food, ample portions, reasonable prices and nice staff. Make sure to save room for desert. I highly recommend the homemade apple crumb pie!
