Called to order lunch for me and some of my co workers at 11AM today. The food didnt arrive until 12:35PM And we were missing three items. One of the orders was for Quesadillas Fritas which on the menu says its $9.00, they only sent ONE quesadilla when it should have been THREE. They also forgot someones sandwich and a side of pico de gallo that we ordered. We called back and told them we wanted the missing food and they said they could bring it to us "later". They show up at 2:30PM with two of the three missing items and the delivery driver has the nerve to tell me that he wants to see the other order slip because they only charged us for the one quesadilla that they brought us not the three that were supposed to come in the order. He expected me to pay him am additional $6 for the two quesadillas that were missing from the order, after I had already given him an $8 tip! Myself and my company will NEVER order from this business EVER AGAIN! Absolutely ridiculous that we had to wsit so long to get a partial order and get an attitude over $6 when they messed up!

The service was horrible but you cant really blame them for that. Its obviously a family owned restaurant and if anyone out there can walk up to their wife and fire her, your a better man than I. That being said, there is no excuse for the rude service. Reviews stating that its just how it is in other countries and we should be appreciative for it being "authentic" are ridiculous. You arent in another country and bad is bad no matter where you are. The tables, chairs, floors and walls were filthy. If you can close your eyes and ignore the filth, close your ears and ignore the service then you are in for a treat. The food was fantastic, 5 star food, 1 star place, which is why Im still giving 3 stars overall.

Ill start with the positive. The food was good. I was excited when I walked in for a brief moment because the atmosphere seemed authentic. We ordered 2 tacos and seafood tostadas. Which by the way is a cold dish. It took us about 45 mins to get our food. All other tables and togos were served before us, most ordered after us. Nobody came by until about 30 mins when we asked for it togo. Still took 15 more mins. Then the server brought only my tostadas. It was awful. Im a server and have been for over 10 years and have NEVER not tipped 20%...we left nothing. It is advertised as a quick bite of authentic mexican food. So disappointed

This place has some of the best Authentic Mexican food around. The service is also traditional, not fast paced like other American institutions. I think too many people are too dense to comprehend that service in other countries can be slow paced and relaxed. Americans want everything fast and now. Dont come here if you have that attitude or youll be disappointed. Maybe 10th Ave Burrito or Surf Taco would be a better choice for you impatient people. It will take a while to get food, but the wait is worth it and the price points for it is a terrific value.

Cielito Lindo has a brand-new location in town, having recently relocated from 1110 Main Street to 1510 Main Street. The new location is a short walk from our beach house rental in Belmar, making it very convenient for dining in or getting an order to go. Free delivery is an option, too. Fresh, authentic Mexican food is what youll find at Cielito Lindo. The place was packed during dinner on a recent Friday night. What we like: chicken sopas and chicken enchiladas with red sauce

The food was good. The sauces that came with the chips were good. but the service was horrendous. Me and my girlfriend waited over an hour for our food, the waitress never asked if we needed anything or checked on us. When we finally got our food the waitress told us that they ran out of rice and were making more. I finished my food, paid the bill, and still waited another half hour for the rice. This place would be a 5 if they had workers that cared about the customer experience.

This is a good, authentic Mexican restaurant. The menu has no whole wheat burritos, brown rice soy quesedillas, etc. It has classic Mexican food, e.g., chuletas, bistec, pescado, camarrones, etc. If you are looking for a gourmet place, or a tex-mex place, this is not the place. If you are looking for decent, not too expensive food, this is good. Its clients, and its workers, are mainly Mexican, so it helps to speak Spanish.

By far one of the best Mexican places in the area. I can only attest to the take out service, but for delivery it would be considered gourmet compared to that of other local chains. The side dishes are included commodities that are often "extras" in other places, and their display (esp. for take-out) was quite impressive. The prices were fair and the food delicious. Learn a bit of Spanish and you will be set.

This place is the real deal. Its not easy to find a spot that serves super-tender "throw-away" cuts that are so rarely found in American cuisine. Im talking beef cheeks and tripe braised until theyre meltier than short ribs. In response to the haters: I come here for killer $2 tacos and tacky decor, not for the service.

Some of the best mexican in the area. Mole con Pollo is on point. Some people have posted low ratings for service, which I dont think is deserved. Service is definitely more casual, if you want check ins every 2 minutes, go to applebees. Good mexican food? Come here.

Having just moved back to Jersey after 10 years in Los Angeles, Ive been searching for an acceptable authentic Taco for months. Finally found them! The bistec, Pollo, carnitas, & most importantly the al pastor were all on-point! Will be back soon!

Bad service, the waitress Cintia was rude not professional at all, I could see how she was talking to her workmates of us almost in front of us and didnt even say thank or good bye. The other girls did a lot better than Cintia. Terrible service

Classic Mexican food. Delicious, fresh, and perfectly sized portions. Friendly servers and reasonably priced meals. The decor could use a little freshening up, but I`ll take good food over decor any day. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing authentic Mexican food. Forget surf taco hit up this place for real. Byob and an amazing Cubano sandwich that I couldnt even think about finishing.
