I could easily have given King Chef 4* if not more for their food quality. Theyre good, and Ive enjoyed their food for the last 6 months or so as I needed to try something other than Ming Ying, Eastern Empire, or Magic Rice in OT where I live. Now, when I double check an order with the counter girl who confirmed all of it, and I find that upon getting home that not only are we missing a soup but not getting the brown rice, it prompted me to call. Thats when it gets rich, no make that ridiculous. Not an apology. Just a what do you want me to do?. After I told her what most places that Ive patronized would do, still nothing. Just dead air on the other end of the line. My wife commented how at Eastern Empire they once forgot to include a soup and told her that theyd make good on it. We didnt order from them for a couple of months and honestly forgot about it. When my wife went to pick up the order, they remembered. See King Chef. They saw the incoming tel #, made a note, and stuck it on their board. Thats customer service. Thats doing the right thing. Youre done in my book as you havent a clue as to what it takes to run a business. Oh one other thing. I was the customer who asked what kind of fish do you use for your dishes as I attempted to order. And that addled, linguistically challenged and incompetent gal couldnt understand what I was asking. Suggestion. Dont let her take orders over the phone or youre going to lose more customers.

I usually dont go on to review things online, and the people here seemed very nice, but I feel obligated to tell about my terrible experience with their food. If you are prone to gas or have IBS - AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. I dont have IBS myself, but one order of dumplings from this place and Ive now experienced the worste intestinal pain from a meal I have ever had in my entire life - and thats saying something. Still recovering. Its a shame since their prices are fair and their location is convenient, but next time Ill definitely be paying the extra couple of dollars to order from somewhere else - it will be worth it.

Kings Chef is the ONLY place for Chinese takeout for us. We have been customers for over 20 years. The food is fantastic, delivery is faster than fast and the order is ALWAYS right. I recommend them to everyone. Id never order Chinese takeout from anywhere else. They are beyond awesome. LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!

They have the best Chinese Takeout in Monmouth County hands down, my family has been going to them for well over 22+ years. If you want there quality in a sit down place you have to travel to Crown Palace. Definitely Recommend
