THIS STORY TRANSPIRED AT THE MANCHESTER LOCATION>>>> So new to the area my GF and I were looking for sushi when we found this restaurant. we enter and sit, it is 9:20 PM we order drinks and are told the kitchen closes around 10:00 PM so we order sushi an item I ordered came with sauce on it containing wasabi which I cannot have. So I politely ask our server to swap it for the same thing minus the sauce pointing out it did not mention sauce on the menu. we were told "THEY WERE NOT WILLING TO REPLACE THE ROLL AND WE HAVE TO PAY FOR IT"( WOW ) so what ever we are hungry so I order something else. Order is placed and ten minutes later the server comes over to tell us the kitchen is closed!!?! So now I have paid for food I cannot eat and they close the kitchen so I leave with EMPTY POCKETS and EMPTY STOMACH???? I go to speak to the OWNER to see if she can help us thinking there must me a big misunderstanding and she is VERY RUDE. She tells me she cannot put every little detail on the menu for "people like us" then tells me she speaks no english lol what a joke. So I say good because my GF is chinese speak to her. The OWNER starts yelling in chinese infront of the whole restaurant, on top of this one of her regulars who is beyond legal limit for intoxication trys to pick a fight with me?? I ignore him and try to reason with the owner peacefully to only get more RUDE ATTITUDE, and DISRESPECT. So we pay the whole bill and tip the waiter over 20% as we felt bad he was caught in the middle of horrible Customer service from the OWNER!! After we pay my GF goes to get her jacket and keys and the same drunk guy who claimed to work for the liquor inforcement while trying to be a tough guy with me lol says to my GF who is chinese "THAT WHY YOU DONT DATE A WHITE GUY" so my GF is now very upset and emotional as we leave I call the police and let them know what happened and they fully agreed non of that chain of events was right or ok, they were sending officers over to the restaurant last I knew. to sum up the whole experience I cant even begin to understand how you can treat a customer like that over a 8.95 piece of sushi?? so yes they saved 8.95 but just lost two customers that eat our 3-5 nights a week and love chinese food!! Its really a shame that the owner has no respect for the people paying her bills because the food was decent for the area. I also cannot believe you would encourage other customers to pick a fight or act as a bouncer? I really donot know where this place got its ethics from. my overall impression of this meal was I paid for services not rendered, we had racist remarks made to both of us and we RIPPED OFF

Went here with my cousins and it was fabulous. First thing I want to mention is the crab rangoon. Ive been to many a restaurant where it frankly is barely edible. The crab rangoon here is incredible. They use enough cream cheese and pack it in. The other absolute difference between Thousand Crane and other Asian Cuisine is the Lo Mein. Every restaurant Ive gone to previously serves Lo Mein as a greasy lump of wet noodles. Not so here. The Lo Mein is light, fluffy, served with a thin pasta, and the best Ive ever had. If you go here, definitely get the Scorpion Bowl as it is tasty and still packs quite a punch. This place also has one of the kindest and best serving staffs Ive ever seen at a restaurant. Our waiter was at our table whenever we needed something. Hanging out at the bar (which we did after eating) is an even bigger surprise as the host of this restaurant is very interesting to talk to. It feels a lot like Cheers on TV. If you are in the area, dont pass this place up as it is a fantastic place to dine. They have Chinese, Japanese, Sushi and I believe some Thai food though I always tend to go for the Chinese. My cousins swear by the Sushi in this place. Anyways, hope this helps in your dining endeavors....

My husband and I ordered from the Crane Restaurant for the first time. When placing the order, I was pleased that the employee seemed very nice and professional and that is where the professionalism stopped. Our food arrived much later than we were told it would and we were missing our order of sesame chicken. I called the restaurant back after confirming that we were charged for it. The employee said we must have it because he remembered packing it in our bags. After convincing the employee that we really didnt have the chicken, that we had received two orders of rice instead, he went to talk to the manager. I was told that they could make a new order of chicken and send it out to us for no charge for the new chicken or second delivery charge. They also said that they didnt know how long it would take for the chicken to be delivered. I stated that of course I wouldnt pay for the new order of chicken and second delivery fee and asked for the chicken to removed from our original bill. The employee and manger kept implying that I should be happy I dont have to pay for the new chicken and second delivery charge. Very disappointed and will not be going back.

I have been coming to Thousand Crane II for over 10 years, Dave previously owned the Manchester location first, he made Manchester a huge success and then sold it and opened Nashua. All of the food is really fresh, he goes down to Boston several times a week to buy a fresh menu, and he has the best working for him. You will never get bad service from him, and hes always there, working hard and greeting his customers. Thousand Crane II has the best & freshest Chinese in southern NH. His prices are very reasonable, especially since the cost of food is so high now.

The prices are very good, hardly a thing on the menu over $10. The drink prices were great and they have some nice specials (sushi buffet on weds!) The food is good, but not mind blowing. Everything seemed just shy of being great. For instance, the hot and sour soup has a great consistency, all the yummy things youd expect to find in it and a decent level of "hot" without being too spicy, but there wasnt enough "sour." Good, but not great. Id eat there again, but Im not madly in love.

Im a college student and work part time in this restaurant. The boss is horrible and mean. I personally witnessed chefs throwing away overnight foods, and was being stop by the boss to keep the overnight food and re-used. One time the chefs throw the foods in trash can already but he ordered them to pick it up and wash the food under the sink and re-used again. I told the boss this might get people sick and he just kept on. I quick because I dont want to affiliated with.

My Husband and I really like this place. The menu has a lot of different options and the prices are very good. We also found it amazingly helpful that they deliver to our house, which makes it easy for us and its just as good as if we were eating in the restaurant. We did think that they were a little slow when we ate in the restaurant, but it seemed to pick up towards the end of the night. Its quite and peaceful and the wait staff are helpful and attentive.
