Whenever we travel somewhere (especially on road trips) I always look to find hole-in-the-wall local joints that all of the locals frequent. We first ventured into this BlueBerry Hill location last year while in town for my nephews graduation. It most definitely fit the description, and weve been coming back ever since. Given that we have several friends and family members that live in the Vegas and Henderson area so we have been in the area several times over the last year. We now make a point to go here for breakfast at least once every time were in town. The food is fast, affordable, and the customer service is excellent. The portions are large for the price and we always leave filling full and satisfied (even when travelling with my nephews who are teenagers and in their early 20s.) If youre in the area and want a restaurant with a true old school diner feel - pay a visit to this location.

Its all in what ones tastes are and what one orders that makes good, bad or no reviews. I had read a review on how incredible the biscuits and gravy was. What biscuits. Shouldnt one assume that a biscuit is an individual thing thats bake, thus having a crust? What I got reminded me of a 2 inch slice of loaf bread with no crust and warmed in a microwave. Horrible to my way of thinking. My order came with 2 eggs which I order medium, make sure the whites at done. The eggs came with the yolks touching each other and cleat yolk running down the sides of the yolk. Doesnt anyone teach cooks to spread the yolks when frying eggs? The 3 slices of bacon was very lumpy. My companion had the Denver omelette and it was huge and delicious though the hasbrowns also was way undercooked. I did notice some delicious looking waffles and French toast go by. If I go back Ill try the waffle.

The food is good and large portions. We went in the evening and it was busy but not exceptional. Our server didnt spend the usual time with us as normal. My biggest objection was the busboy. He would clean tables and put his hands into the glasses while removing dishes. He would then wipe the table and this was the worst part he went directly to the clean silverware and clean glassware and pick them up with his dirty hands to reset the table. This was not just once. He did this all th he time without washing his hands and using the same dirty towel to wipe the tables. It was disgusting thinking that the silverware I was eating from were touched by his hands that had been in other peoples food and touched their mouths.

The only thing worse than the food was the service. No wait... the high prices for bad food and terrible service, that was the worst. Took forever to be waited on, server did not ask if we wanted a beverage (its Las Vegas, for heavens sake, please give me something to drink). He also did not ask about dressing for salad, and didnt bring any until we practically shouted to get him to come back. Didnt ask or bring cream for coffee, (had to get it myself from another table) and never came back to see if we needed anything. The breakfast potatoes were cold and undercooked, so called poached eggs were cooked hard, and their version of "hollandaise sauce" was some watery, pale liquid that defied any resemblance to food.

My family likes the food but I hv always big problem with a young food service workers in there when everytime they are duty, bcoz I always left the place hungry and find another place to eat bcoz i dont understand if they are busy talking with there co employees or they just like to pick the customer who they want to serve. Even coffee they never ask if what drinks we want and theres a new customer came and they ask right away what drinks they like. They supposed to do first come first serve basis and it happens not only once but many times. I love the food in there . The problem is the employee ....the young people. Please make actions on this. Thank u and god bless.

When I needed to get an early start one morning during my Las Vegas visit, I tried the Blueberry Hill for a hot breakfast. It was amazing. The Ham & Cheese Omelette was made with four eggs and generous chunks of ham and served with hash browns. My waitress was willing to let me choose a biscuit instead of pancakes. Comparing it to Ohio prices is seemed high but to other places in Vegas pricing was reasonable. The carryout order of French Toast I took back to the hotel for my wife was also very good and served with several toppings. This location is just a few blocks off the strip and well worth the visit. Im looking forward to returning during my next visit.

Weekends or before school on weekdays, my son only wants breakfast at Blueberry Hill. Blueberry Hill Family Restaurant is still our favorite place. Even when our family and friends travel into Vegas from out of town, each individual person wants to go to Blueberry Hill because they remember how excellent the dishes tasted. Near the library, university, all the tourists stop at Blueberry Hill Family Restaurant on Sunday before driving back to Arizona, Utah and California. My son is growing up, but he still loves breakfast with blueberry pancakes at the number one family restaurant in Las Vegas, Blueberry Hill Family Restaurant.

This is a must if you appreciate home cooked style meals. We had the chilaquiles verde and steak fajitas. Our food was very good. Not overcooked, had flavor, large quantity and the price was great! Both meals were priced nicely at $10 and $14. The atmosphere reminded me of a old diner feel back in the midwest. The people were friendly and actually made us feel like we were a priority. Its sad to say that it was better service than high end restaurants off the strip. So, if you want a family friendly restaurant with great service and food, then try this place out! The only regret I have is not finding it sooner.

Not sure if we were there on a bad day but service was slow , place was a mess, in need of picking up and some spots needed cleaning. Not enough fries/curly fries were served. Usually in other places we get served so much fries or curly fries kids never finish it. Here, at this location surprisingly, amount was soo little looked like few was thrown on the plate in a hurry. We had to.order extra. . Will try it again in the near future and will share my experience.

This was mine and my boyfriends first time at this place and can I just say...wow! We probably will never go to an IHOP or Dennys again. First of all, Lisa, our server was amazing and such a sweetheart. She recommended all the right things. Three words: FRENCH FREAKIN TOAST!! Hands down, THE best French toast you will ever have. We will never NOT order it. Crepes were good. The biscuit and gravy was a little lackluster, but overall a wonderful experience.

This was a great place. Definitely family friendly. The waitress had a lot of people that she was serving, but still managed to get us our food in a timely manner and keep our glasses full. It has an awesome atmosphere with an 80s feel to it. The food was extremely filling and my boyfriend and I got full for $20. That included the tip. Definitely recommend going here to anyone eating on a budget and looking to get full in Vegas.
