If I could give them a zero I would! This place was so NASTY! My Daughter & I ate there for Easter Sunday. I ordered a full rack of ribs with mac & cheese, red beans & rice and greens. Ive had better greens out of a can. The red beans and rice, were dry as if you were eating toilet paper. The mac n cheese, was extremely dry. The full rack of ribs, consisted of 2 slices of meat, no kind of ribs Ive ever seen before. One was nothing but fat. The second one was dry maybe took 3 fork fulls of meat off that one. The barbeque sauce, was poured all over this meat. Basically this nasty meat was cooked, after it was done, then they poured a ton of barbeque sauce on top of the questionable meat.. I wouldnt eat here, even if it were free & that says a lot. The food wasnt hot, not even luke warm. The only two things that were good was the diet coke, then leaving that place. Ive been eating soul food my entire life. This wasnt soul food. We would of been better eating at McDonalds or Taco Bell. This place is beyond disgusting!!! IDK how they stay open, just straight nasty as hell! Id rather eat Alpo Dog Food. Thats how nasty this place was. That meat I ordered, was not ribs & Im not sure what type of nasty meat that was, but it was crap!!! Btw I ended up in the restroom for a good 40mins once I got home. I was having extreme cramping and sick to my stomach. Excesive amounts of diarrhea. If you value your stomach and health along with your food palette please eat elsewhere....

Best tasting food in Las Vegas. A simple place with great people, wonderful service and food that is too amazing. Where else can you get Red flavoured Kool-Aid to go with the best smothered chicken you ever ate. We have worked our way through most of the menu and each dish simply out does the next. We have spent about $500 for serious food for two at several high end restaurants during our three month stay here in Vegas. They are fine, but really not up to some of the great Michelin starred restaurants we have been to around the world. To be perfectly honest we have found Las Vegas restaurants to be way too expensive with nothing truly outstanding on offer. In particular we found the serving staff to be a bit too pretentious for their own good. Then we came to M & M and really found it to be outstanding. The serving staff are wonderful; friendly, attentive and gorgeous. The real treasure may be the other people eating at the place. The atmosphere is outstanding. The manager is a wonderful person who makes every effort to make everyone feel at home. We recommend this place, bring an appetite though, the portions are crazy by Canadian standards. Warning. Chitterlings are seriously an acquired taste.

I am a very picky eater and I am very very health conscious. However, I love good quality food with natural flavors. I have been living in Vegas for 6 years and never been here before. I saw the reviews and figured Id give it a try. I really wanted to try Oxtail since I have never had it. OMG! So me and my husband who have had ate pretty much everywhere in Vegas that claim to be "HIGH END" "TOP CUISINE" that are overly priced restaurants. There is nothing that can compare to this place... NOTHING! We ordered, the Oxtail with collard greens, red beans and rice, macaroni and cheese, Fried Chicken, Okra, and Chitterlings. My husband is the whitest white guy on earth and he was hesitant about trying pig intestines. He loved it!!!!! This will be my go to place from now on when I Have my "cheat meals". The service is top notch. Everyone there is soooooo friendly and the service is soooooo quick. I am absolutely in love with this place and will recommend this place to EVERYONE!!!! I am so excited I finally found a place in Vegas where they believe in QUALITY FOOD and excellent service. Huge portions also. Our tab was $25 for all that food. If I could rate this 10 stars I would!!!!!

The service provided was unbelievable. M&Ms is a very well known establishment and I am utterly ashamed to say that Ive dined here. Upon arriving the hostess seemed a bit busy and inattentive although there were only approximately 6 other parties in the restaurant. We were seated and after 10-15 mins of waiting, I had to get the attention of the waitress to let her know we were ready to order. When the food was served, for starters, the meals were given one at a time (approx 2-3 mins apart) and only the main entrees no side dishes as ordered. When my fish arrived I was disappointed for having to wait, let alone what finally arrived was NOT what I ordered. As mentioned, the entrees came out prior to the sides. After literally 20 mins of my party waiting for our sides, we were then advised they were running out of items and would not know exactly what they were out of until the dishes arrived. This was the absolute worst experience Ive ever had at a restaurant and I would never recommend this location to anyone visiting Las Vegas. I would like to try the California locations but based on this experience, Im extremely weary.

First i have to say if you been eating at another soul food place make the switch to M&M.The music you hear as soon as you walk in the soul food cafe is relaxing suited to the soul. The staff and i mean the whole staff is very professional, friendly ,pleasant, nice, well dress. The place was very clean. Now to the food lets say this i stay in Las Vegas for five days, the second day of my stay i did a search for soul food and found this soul food cafe never ate somewhere else even down to breakfast i had my three courses of meal here along with my sister,my bestfriend. The menu took me back to my family Liver, Ham steak,Salmon Croquet Kool Aid etc.The flavor was off the hook i wish they had a franchise in new york.Have you ever been so happy satisfied with how your food was prepare that if you had the money you wanted you wouldve left the biggest tip everyone especially the cooks, the founder.I really enjoyed eating here i give this place over 4 stars your are Number.Well its March the 17 2009 at 3:05 am and just finish my chicken wings i took back with me for the plane ride.Keep Up The Excellent Cooking I will be back

Food was ok...nothing spectacular. Prices were ok...$8-20. The "corn bread" pancakes were thin, cold and very greasy. When the food was brought out to our table of 4 it seemed like the cook was preparing each meal one at a time since that was how it was presented. My food was palatable however it was already cooling off and had obviously been sitting. Half my meal was brought out and the other half arrived 5 minutes later. This happened with the other couple.. I was almost done eating by the time their food arrived. Drink refills were very slow. I was basically finished eating when the server asked me if I wanted a refill. This place is rated 3 stars and if they hire more staff or new staff this place has alot of potential. When we were leaving I could see into the kitchen area and it was smallish and outdated. I observed 1 cook doing all the work and this is why the quality of food and service is not 100%.
