Like Jay Emm said, there it doesnt seem like they have a dedicated host/hostess. It was less than a minute before we got seated though. Generals chicken was good. It was crispy, and a really big portion. My gf got some kind of noodle dish, but I dont remember what exactly. Hers was also good, and a very large portion. One order of either of them would have easily fed us both, and with each one being $12+ I would probably just get one to split next time. We were seated right next to the window, a couple tables from the entrance, so we didnt get to see much of the atmosphere. It was the early afternoon, and that made it seem fairly plain. I would guess that for a dinner or if you were seated deeper into the restaurant it was a $12+ per plate kind of place though.

The food and prices keep me coming back. The food is delicious and every guest I invite is pleased with this as well and Im astounded at the low prices which means I can go out and fulfill my sushi cravings more. The service is lacking and I cant honestly tell if its because of a lack of experience or if maybe they dont speak too much English because they typically avoid talking and coming up to the table to check on you, but as long as they can take my order Ill be happy, because the food is absolutely delicious. My guests highly recommend the caterpillar roll, the yum yum roll, avocado rolls, and the lasagna.

Four stars is for the green tea, which I think is really lacking (may sound like a small deal, but for the price of 1$ I still expect more than just one cheap tea bag thrown in a tea pot). However, the staff is nice and the food has always been good in my experience. I like the chicken teriyaki, sushi combo, and their spicy tuna roll especially. The shrimp tempura is also good. Everything is pretty reasonably priced and this place is near where I go to med school, so its a convenient and quiet place where you can sit, eat lunch, and study.

TATAS IS TOO GREEDY! TaTas was once 50% off all regular rolls, then 40%, and now 30%. Come on. Just drop the whole thing altogether and make it full price again already. After I saw the ridiculous greed, I started going to SAMURAIS JAPANESE BISTRO formerly known as FUKUDAS right next to Sunset Station. Their whole menu is 50% off, its delicious, great atmosphere, and great service. TaTas lost a loyal customer until they quit being so greedy

I placed an order for take out over the phone. The guy who answered the phone was very friendly and polite. He said 10-15 minutes. I showed up right at 15 minutes. I walked in (never had been here before) and waited for 10 minutes before being greeted. I will say that although the spicy salmon wasnt that spicy the food was excellent. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

Lets just start off by saying I have been glues to the toilet for 2 days straight!!!! I have never experienced food poisening until I ate here. The prices were way too high and the food tasted like dirt!! I am so upset that I wasted my money here. We even had a party of 14 and everyone in our party got sick!! Trust me when I say, PASS on this Sushi place.......

Pros, good food, consistently, japanese and Chinese. They offer 2 for the price of one sake, and half off all regular sushi rolls. Lunch specials till 4pm. Cons, no loyalty to regulars. No free anything for Birthdays. No big screens for sports, ladies bathroom needs to be "tightened up", its been that way for years, I try not to use it, (smelly.)

When it comes to our local establishments within a two-mile radius of our home, we adore Ta Tas. Great enough that they always have great specials, great people and great-tasting Asian dishes and sushi. If you want a real experience, Teppanyaki!

I keep hearing about bad reviews of this place. I dont know why because this is my favorite place to get sushi in the valley. Definitely a local hideaway from the commercial all-you-can-eat food troughs. Off the strip but a hidden gem.

The chow mein was mushy and unappealing. The sushi is fair, its inexpensive so you get what you pay for. The cashew chicken is good! There must have been a change in ownership lately, the quality had gone down.

Pricing of all sorts. Quick and easy. Staff is very respectful and often remember me. The sushi chefs are very cool guys. All kinds of options here. Highly recommend it for families and for take out.

This place has been my favorite sine I moved to Vegas 5 years ago. I love spicy rolls, their red rock, valley of fire, and spicy bomb are the best spicy rolls Ive ever had. This place is so great.

Terrible service... we were waiting at the table for 15 minutes at the empty restaurant to get a drink, 15 more minutes to order, but nobody came to even take an order or ask the questions.

Decent food at a reasonable price. Their combo fried rice is a great bang for your buck. As are the sushi rolls (40% off all day every day)! When Im craving Asian food, this does the trick

We have probably eaten here 40 or 50 times. The food is beautiful and delicious. Might not seem like that many times...BUT we live in SACRAMENTO ! ! ! Super reasonable too.

This place is amazing. Their baked green mussells are to die for. No lemon or salt needed. No squishy texture either and the sushi is pretty cheap too!
