Friendly place, good food and good service. Dont go in with a chip on your shoulder or expect to turn the tide if you are a Hillary/Obama supporter; do like the other guy said and proceed to another place or the gas station and get a bag of chips and beef jerky. Realize however that the gas station ownership is likely anti-HILLARY too, without the statement. Best advice, if you are a liberal Obama/Hillary lover, dont bother rural Nevada with your presence, if you must pass through, keep on truckin with saddle tanks because the gas station owners you NEED to do business with are conservatives that arent "down with" Obamacare and your liberal thinking. So why give them your money? Because you NEED what they offer? Dont drive through our towns and neighborhoods whose political leanings you grossly disagree with and dont come hat-in-hand in need of help with anything like a flat tire, an empty stomach or gas tank. Avoid us as best you can, as we avoid your bastions as best we can.

Made the mistake of stopping in here for lunch on a road trip. Staff/waiter guy repeatedly made rude comments and tried to start lighthearted bigoted/racist conversations and rustle up support for Trump. We politely ordered food and he couldnt remember what we ordered, tried to give us someone elses order, and brought us 2 of the same order. Also observed hilariously rude/idiotic comments towards other patrons. There were "humor books" on every table (and for sale) with racist/sexist/ignorant messages on every page, disguised as informational/educational. Not sure what we expected from such a small town but this is whats wrong with America. It was surprising they offered a veggie burger on the menu, though the host made a rude comment when we ordered it (among other things).

Beware! If you are a "tourist from California", youre not welcome round these parts. Also, you must be a Trump supporter. I mean, these guys are a trump rally that never ended, and took a turn for the worst. Think youll brush it off when they insult Muslims? Dont worry, whatever you are, theyll mention. I was warned about this place, and I ignored my warning. I was enjoying the Trump thing before I came here. If you are a Trump supporter, Clinton wont look so bad on your drive outa here. Go to the Toiyabe Cafe instead.

Saw another review that said the place was unwelcoming to tourists. Just want to confirm that that the giant make America great again banner across the front stopped us from going in. The toiyabe Cafe down the street is very cute inside and had tastey food.

Food selection was decent , just slow business so not much to work with. Bar is attached but whiskey tasted watered down. Probably better at night but will be hitting the other cafe next time threw
