This is a great little spot to get a quick bite. Their sandwiches are filling and tasty, but I dont get the feeling that its necessarily healthy. The salad is a fine addition too -- I really like the mandarins in there! It does get super packed though, as it basically serves the local workforce in the area because every other food option around the shopping center doesnt even come close. Its definitely on the fast food side of things, so just keep that in mind if you decide to give this restaurant a try.

Decided to try it, ordered a Protein Salad... walked home to eat and realized they didnt put any protein on it. A giant pile of lettuce with a small amount of corn and some cheese. Im sure the food is okay, but Ill never find out because I got a giant pile of lettuce for $8. I would have loved to walk back and get this fixed, but im not wasting the hour that will take.

Theres probably no other place in San Diego where you can get a high quality healthy meal with a decent portion size for under $10. Meticulously prepared salads with the perfect dressing, fresh baked bread and high quality sandwich fillings. It gets crowded from 1130 to about 1pm but the line moves fast. Make sure you try the Baja chicken enchilada soup.

Ive never had anything here I have not liked. I really like that they chop in basil with their salad mixed greens, adds great flavor. The quality of foods is excellent. I also like their wide variety of the soups they serve on their daily specials, always a different soup but always great.

I eat here at least once a week, and still cant get enough! Their ingredients are always fresh and the food tastes world class. The people are super friendly! This is my favorite restaurant and have recommended it to many of my friends, never had a friend disappointed in the food here!

Excellent food! I was there during happy hour and had the goat cheese and grilled onion flat bread. It was all fresh, carefully made, and fantastically delicious! And only $8. The service is friendly. If youre going to a nearby theater, this is the place to Urbane Cafe!

The food is consistently wonderful. The sandwichs offer a little sonething different than the usual flavors. My favirites are the Chicken Sundried Tomato and Pesto and the Turkey Cranberry Brie. All sandwichs come with a side salad.
