85 degrees and i sat on the sidewalk patio. Despite the heat, the sun felt great. I poked my head inside the restaurant thinking of sitting there, but the frigid air conditioning made me think otherwise ... winter is around the corner and i want to soak up every last moment of heat before she arrives. My order was taken quickly by a friendly server and she made sure my cold beer arrived quickly ... she agreed it was a good choice considering the stagnant heat on the patio. I order a clubhouse with a salad side. I have to say, it was probably the best clubhouse i have had. Everything about it was "Flavor". It just tasted great. You could taste everything in it... the ham, turkey and the bacon ... everything was distinct. And the cheese ... well, it was thick and rich. It was just a wonderful clubhouse. I have to also mention the "Blue Cheese" dressing for my salad was equally infused with flavor. Smooth texture, delicious chunks of blue cheese... if you like blue cheese, youll want more of this. This was a great place to eat. I left feeling i made a great choice. Considering there are like 20 restaurants in the Old Market Area, you would do well to try this place out.

I was not very impressed with this place. We had lunch here on a Saturday. The first bad sign was that the mens bathroom was dirty. The urinal & floor was a mess and smelled terrible. There was no holder for the paper towels, they were just set on the sink and were wet. I also noticed the candle holders on the tables were not clean and had old food in them. I ordered the "Famous buttermilk fried chicken salad". The chicken was overcooked and didnt really have any flavor. The pesto buttermilk dressing was delicious though. I also tried some of the Gouda mac & cheese and it was very good. The server seemed a little inexperienced, for example she asked if we had room for desert when we were not even half way through our meals. With all the great options that are available in the Old Market, I probably wont try this place again.

Stumbled upon this place as the official 1st stop in Omaha and it was by chance. Randomly parked in front of here and my friend said lets eat here. Sure, why not?! It was rather empty for a Monday at 2pm in mid-December. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves. We ordered the chili relano and the mac & cheese. The chili relano was just ok, flavorful enough, but felt something was missing. The mac & cheese was a little bland, but that could be the fact I prefer it really creamy. I felt that if the cook left the mac & cheese in the oven for just a few more minutes, that wouldve done the trick. There were some cheese pieces that werent fully melted. Prices were fair/average, about $10-$12 per entree. Service was excellent. The guy was attentive, but not hovering. I cant say that Ill come back again if Im visiting Omaha.

Dined during Sunday brunch but decided to order off the lunch menu. We were some of the first customers of the morning, but seated in the far back corner of the restaurant. Server was polite but not very personable and was absent most of the time. We had to flag down the bartender to change out a flat soda order and even the replacement was just as flat. The Cowboy French Dip was delicious and cooked perfectly. The side of sweet potato fries were cut large and not always cooked through. The chicken sandwich my wife ordered was chewy and the waitress apologized and mentioned the had recently switched to a new butcher and others had mentioned the same reaction so the manager adjusted our bill to remove the sandwich. Overall, not a terrible experience, just not one wed try again.

Im very big on customer service. Was in on Halloween and Mr. Cody was very friendly and attentive. Although it isnt a big this, small thing really do get points from me, I needed change for the parking meter and before I could walk to the bar he came over and offered to run to the bar on my behalf. I will also give kudos for his recommendation of the chicken fried bacon, Im drooling now writing this. It was delicious, as our meal also. I also want to give a nod to the manager for just coming around and being friendly, I enjoyed the conversation we had. Will definitely put this on my return and recommend list of places in the country.

A cool location in an area known for cool, Twisted Fork had some awesome food to go along with the atmosphere. Went for lunch recently after a (too long) absence. They change the menu sine the last visit and it was great. I had a pork chop that was thick and juicy. Cooked perfectly and not a bite left. My dining companion had the B.L.T.B.L. which is a monstrous Bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich. No complaining from that picky eater. Service was polite, friendly and professional. Prices were reasonable. There is a sidewalk patio seating area for when the weather cooperates.

We visited Omaha and a friend recommended we stop here for dinner. Its a really quaint and cute little place. We went around 7 PM on a Saturday night and there was no wait which was awesome. I ordered the 12 oz steak. It was cooked perfectly but it was topped with a pepper gravy that was way too peppery for my taste. It had entire chunks of peppercorn which was not pleasant to bite into. It came with mashed potatoes and a side of veggies which was literally 5 slices of squash. My steak was $25 which I wouldnt say was great for what I got, but at any rate I was happy enough.

Stopped here for dinner on our short trip to Omaha. As we were walking through the The Old Market, the outdoor dining and smells roped us in to trying this lovely place. Decor was simple, but nice. Kinda hipster/trendy, but not over the top. Some velvet, some faux (and real) animal heads on the wall. The waitstaff was very friendly and visited our table the appropriate amount of times. Food was delicious and fresh. BF got the French dip and I got the Knife and Fork Caesar Salad. Not a single complaint about the food, service or experience. We loved it!

We were visiting Omaha from out of town and reviewed the menu before choosing Twisted Fork. We had a party of 7 and several specifically wanted hot beef and others wanted another beef sandwich. Upon ordering we were first told they were out of fried pickles. Then after ordering our waitress returned to tell us they were out of roast beef. Huge disappointment. With so many places to choose from, you must be stocked & prepared. We will not be returning. Our food was OK but not good enough to make up for the disappointment.

My boyfriend and i came in kinda late but i was craving grilled chicken. Im so glad we chose this over applebees. My bf got fried pickles as an app and it was SO good. For a meal i got the grilled chicken he got the gouda mac and cheese. Both were excellent. I had some substitutions and our waiter helped so much. The drinks were great also and strong haha. The manager even stepped out to say hey. Great place with great food and friendly staff that wasnt terribly expensive. and its nice to sit outside. We shall return.
