We were here in a large group (family) and despite having told the restaurant that we were arriving, they had much difficulty accommodating our seating arrangement. Essentially I had to squeeze in some corner so that everyone could fit. They have the tables to make room for large groups but they really dont have the structure for it. Our table was at the end of the day, unreserved and we had to pull tables together to seat ourselves. The size of the restaurant is small so its possible that causes some chaos when large groups arrive. We were here for the lunch buffet. The buffet had plenty of options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians and great dessert options. The food was fairly good. South Indian food however was not good. I would stick to the North Indian dishes. The idlis were dry and the sambar was watery. The service was decent, but certainly could have been better. I think if we were to come for dinner we would have better food and service. I would definitely come here again, if we were in town, and give them another chance.

Relatively cheap - $10 for a buffet Good Naan Cons: Poor Service Extremely dry chicken - despite being soaked in sauce Sauce was indistinguishable from canned ravioli sauce. Stopped by to grab some Lamb Vindaloo to go on Christmas, and the guy kept pushing the buffet to vigorously it became obvious it was buffet or nothing. As they were one of the few places open my choices were extremely limited so I acquiesced. Fairly small selection laid out in hotel pans on a table, but as the place was fairly busy I decided not to judge by looks alone. I grabbed some Naan, Chicken Masala, and rice. When I got home and tried the food I was dismayed to find that it tasted exactly like canned ravioli with the same level of spice, that is to say none. The chicken whilst generously cut, was somehow extremely dry and overcooked despite soaking in Masala sauce. The rice was already soaked through with the pseudo-ravioli sauce so I cant tell you about that, however the naan was good.

This is a hidden gem of Omaha. The decor is modern and minimalist in design. Very clean lines and an uncluttered atmosphere allows people to focus on each other and the food. This is not a quick service restaurant. Plan to really sit down and enjoy the experience. Great for a date night. The service was well timed and the food took a while. Now before you judge, it was clearly evident that the paced service was entirely based on quality and care in the kitchen. Having knowingly ordered difficult dishes to prepare the result was talored and exquisite. Neither goat or lamb is easy to get right. Most rush it including at The Oven where most meat dishes come out dry, tough, and Way over spiced. But here they came out so tender and balanced you could have told me either was brisket. The place was clean and overall lovely. So if your up for an adventure or want to impress your date. This is the place to be!

Best Indian food Ive ever had, way better than tandoor. Great service period, all the bad reviews are South Indians just look at their names, I think South Indians do not like punjabi Indians period! I was eating here and watched a big table of Indians walk in and were extremely rude to the owner, he sat them down and granted their every wish, and they were still rude as could be, me and my family were completely baffled at their behavior towards the owner. I highly doubt all those bad reviews are legeitment. The food was absolutely amazing as well as the service. Best Indian place in Florida hands down! Trust me, if you go you will love it. Been eating Indian food for 15 years, traveling all over to diferent restaraunts and this is by far the best!

Waited a literal hour for 2 somosas and 2 entrees on a takeout order. Somosas came horribly burnt. Other food was mediocre. Service and quality have steadily declined here in the last few months. After half an hour told them I wanted my money back and to leave, they kept saying "5 more minutes" for another half an hour. I missed an appointment because of this nonsense and all I got was a half muttered "so sorry." This is the last straw for this place with me, 3rd bad experience in a row and the food isnt worth the effort AT ALL. I will never come here again and our lunch group at work will never go here again, previously a large group of us came in often. Well go to Flavors from now on.

Wife and I ate here on a Wednesday evening for the first time (Groupon) and will definitely be back. We split a Somosa Chat and Mulligatawny soup as appetizers. Wed go back just for the Chat - extremely tasty and plenty for 2. The soup wasnt typical Mulligatawny; thinner than most, with some unusual seasonings - I liked it very much, she didnt as much. For our meal we split Lamb Korma, which was simply outstanding, and some naan to sop up the sauce. Omaha is blessed with Indian Food from several regions, and Maharaja is worth going back for.

The lunch buffet was incredibly limited, only 2 meat dishes, one of which was the usual chicken masala, and it was okay but not great. Vegetarian dishes did not look appealing but the mushroom dish was okay. $12 for a limited buffet isnt a good deal at all. The staff were also not friendly, the cashier was disinterested and wouldnt look at me when I was paying. He just continued with his conversation and handed me a receipt. There was literally no interaction, nothing. I wouldnt return.

The food is standard Indian food, nothing special. Customer service was bad. I had a groupon for $25 at this place. They told me I would only be charged $1.59 dollars since my bill was 26.59$. However, they charged my card the full 26.59 and did not honor my groupon. I literally asked the cashier, "so Im only going to be charged 1.59?" and he told me yes. Maybe I would give a few more stars if Im able to get my refund, but this experience was not the best.

This place was highly recommended, which made the disappointment even worse. I went during lunch hour, and many dishes took awhile to fill, longer than Ive experienced from most lunch buffets. For the dishes that were actually out, much of it was cold or lukewarm. The flavor was non-impressive and honestly a little bland. I do like to try things twice, just in case it was an off-day, but it will be awhile before I do give this place a second chance.

Great food, very popular place - people just kept coming and going. I found it by searching on Google maps looking for more than the usual fare, glad I made the trip. It is a bit out of the way as far as the areas I frequent, but well worth it. Only reason not 5/5 is I would like to see a bigger variety, but I understand its a small place and items were probably paired down to the most popular.
