The food smelled and tasted like hot garbage. Its as if they stored their, veggies and noodles in a dumpster. I wish this was an exaggeration. We ordered the chicken lo mein, kung pow chicken, moo go gai pan, egg rolls, and crab ragoon.The kung pow chicken, egg rolls, and crab ragoon were all good. The egg rolls were far from traditional: large and deep fried! The crab ragoon was large but had a good ratio of crab filling to wrapper. Kung Pow chicken was.just generally tasty. Id say the fried rice is pretty good too. The Lo Mein and the Moo Go Gai Pan literally tasted like hot garbage. I could not eat either dish. I tried. I really tried. Ive eaten a lot of ethnic food but I have NEVER come across a dish that tasted as garbage-y as BOTH dishes did. Maybe its the sauce, maybe its the veggies, I dont really know. It tasted rancid, and seriously the worst thing Ive put in my mouth all 2016. I really like the teriyaki place next door-- clean, delicious, and flavorful. I thought this place would be similar, but I will NEVER eat here again.

good food, cleanliness of the restaurant questionable, especially in the back where it all goes down. Today I ordered a sesame seed chicken with green bell peppers and onions and they gave me sweet and sour chicken. when I call to let them know there was a mistake, they didnt even listen to me or take my word on anything for it when they really did messed up the order of my food. I had My Mind Set On sesame seed chicken. what bothers me the most is they didnt trust me or believe me because the color of my skin, Im a black male and I buy food with them all the time, even had my lunch buddies at work purchase food with them. like I said, what hurt me the most was they totally didnt believe me or took me seriously, because of the color of my skin! We face this all the time in America so my senses of those are quite Keen. they love our money but hate and disrespect us as a people in our very community!

This place is amazing. Some of the best Chinese food Ive eaten in a while. The service was great, and the food exceptional. We were served a complimentary pot of tea, which unlike some restaurants well very well brewed, and not watered down at all. I ordered a bowl of hot and sour soup, a Dr, Pepper and the hunan beef. The Dr.Pepper arrived, but unfortunately was in a can, The upside to the cans is you had the choice of Pepsi or Coke, but the obvious downside is no free refills. Considering the free pot of tee this didnt bother me much. The soup arrived and it was some of the best hot and sour soup Ive eaten. And now we get to the main course, the vegetables were perfectly cooked along with the beef. Everything about this meal, and dining experience was great, and cheap. I spent 10.70 on everything. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys great Chinese food at an affordable price.

Normally I write good reviews on places like this. I have been going here for years. Now I have major food poisoning. Smelly food, toilets backed up (Women and Mens) water smelled coming out of faucet. My girlfriend and I got sick within minutes of eating. The dumplings tasted off. owner was very angry when I tried to inform him it might be possible some food *might* have some issues, and immediately blamed me for being sick. I mean wth? I am now typing this in an ER sick as a dog throwing up and cant keep anything down. my girlfriend isnt doing too well either. Ate here on 11/03/2016. Its not 11/08/2016. Still sick really bad

HORRIBLE customer service. They messed up on my order, veggie fried rice, when I called them to get the issue resolved they told me the customer is not always right. They refused to credit me or fix my to go order. They told me dont come back and that they dont care about my allergies. It was my first time ever ordering from them and I will never give them another cent! The veggies did not look fresh and the rice was not even cooked. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY THERE!

Called ahead of time and asked if they had a lunch buffet. When we got there they of course do not have one, and the guy says when we called we asked about a "lunch special". He would not even admit it could have been a misunderstanding and just called us liars with an attitude on top of it. Needless to say we left and will not return to this rude staff/manager/owner whatever he was. Went and ate at Rice Bowl down the street and it was fantastic!

We showed up an hour before closing only to be told that they are only doing carry out. The hostess dashed out to her car and left. When we tried to voice our complaint we were told that is how it has always been. We said no way as we have come there on Saturday nights in the past and have been seated. We where than told "That is how it is now so what you think about that" We left and will never be back. How rude those people were.

The first time I ordered from China palace the beef and broccoli was spectacular! But tonight I decided to go with the fried chicken chow mein dish. Worst choice ever, it didnt even come with noodle shapes, but instead fried wonton squares the size of cheeze itz as the noodles. The sauce was bland and tasteless and resembled soup. I dont recommend the fried chicken chow mein at all, unless your sick and cant taste anything.

The combination fried rice is exquisite, they are light on the soy sauce, the color is just right. The right amount of shrimp, eggs, chicken, and beef chunks all mixed in. The meal is rich, filling and again exquisite. Just dont start eating in your car while driving home...delay your gratification! The food is awesome!! Im from Vegas and I cant believe I loved the china palace here in Omaha.

Spent more than 50 dollars on take out and was told I could only have two chopsticks and three hot sauce containers. I ordered steam dumplings and the dough was super thick and not very good. The general chicken was super dry and so was the chicken in the chicken fried rice. This was my first time ordering take out from this restaurant and I would not consider going back a second time.

Absolutely one of my favorite Chinese places in Omaha! My wife and I usually order from here a couple of times each month and have yet to have a subpar meal. Big portions mean we always have leftovers for the next day and the staff is super friendly. If youre looking for a great place for Chinese in Midtown Omaha then China Palace is the place.

I have been going to China Palace for over 20 years. I have never had a bad meal. Quality has always remained high over the years and the prices are reasonable. I can not call for half a year and when I call in an order to pick up she still knows me by name:) Peanut Butter chicken and Lemon Chicken are two of my favorites.

The best orange beef, actually one of the few chinese restaurants that does orange beef. The slices of beef are huge! The orange sauce has just enough hot peppers to be nice and spicy but not too hot. The best hot mustard in town. Ive moved from omaha and back again and this place is still here and unchaged. I love it!
