I had a delivery order,and I was not happy with the experience.First thing was I ordered 1/2 chicken with 2 sides.The 2 sides I ordered was twice baked potatoes and corn.I received a large scoop of potatoes with a bottle of salt dumped on top and 1/2 of a dry sweet potato no butter or salt.For desert I ordered the BlackBerry cobbler and a scoop of ice cream.The cobbler was OK but small and scoop of ice cream was very small.The delivery was sent to wrong room,if I had not opened my door I would have missed the delivery.I called store and owner did offer to send driver back with corn,but by then I was done.This dinner with tip costed me $22.00.Was this worth $22.00?No.The only thing that was worth the money was the delivery driver did deserve 4.50 to deliver a meal.The meal was not worth 17.50.and the cost of my blood pressure going sky high from the salt dumped on top of the potatoes.Shame on you ,it was suppose to be a healthy meal turned into possible heart attack.Will not request from this establishment again.Would have done better if I had found a steak house and had half of a cow.Less salty.May have cost less.

Rarely do I eat at a restaurant that every single item I ordered was excellent. Well today I had that experience at Cowboy chicken. The chicken was cooked perfectly,tender,flavorful,crispy skin. The twice baked taters were delicious melt in your mouth goodness, and even the side salad was full of crisp lettuce and fresh chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, and onion. This salad is also served with the best ranch dressing in town..try it for yourself and you will agree Cowboy chicken is well on its way to being a Lincoln favorite. Thanks Joe your food is awesome!!

I have been here a few times when Im on the southside of Lincoln it is my go to place. Last night decided to bring family with me so they could try it, and it was the worse experience I have had. Are food was at best a lititle warm. Not hot at all it was like it had been sitting for a while. I was very disappointed. The hottest thing on my plate was my french fries. My vegetables were cold my chicken was not even very warm. Might be time to find a new place over there to eat. When you spend 50 dollars on dinner for your family you want it hot.

This is a very good fast casual type restaurant, somewhere in between fast food and a full service, menus and waiters, restaurant. The chicken is very good. You can see the chickens being roasted in a big oven on the the wall, and the result is something better than your generic fried chicken. They have a good variety of sides, but stick to a pretty simple menu overall, which isnt necessarily a bad thing when they focus on doing it well. If you dont want chicken, there arent a lot of options. If you want chicken, give it a try.

Chicken is really tender, great flavor profile with the wood fire rotisserie, and really affordable (just about $9 for a whole chicken). Love the options for sides too. We try to eat healthy in our home and doing so eating out on the cheap is almost impossible, or so we thought. Cowboy Chicken is now our go-to eat out spot. Cant recommend it highly enough.

We love going here as a family. We know we are eating chicken that is raised right and cooked right. I prefer the chicken tortilla soup without the pico. The salads are HUGE! The enchiladas are as similar to authentic Mexican as Ive seen. I always leave with a full stomach and with assurance that Ive eaten healthy.

Delicious chicken, tender and tasty. Ive tried several sides. Love the potatoes. We didnt get a bun this time. Tought maybe they quit that, but obviously it was an oversight. Still was plenty of food. Like home cooking without all the work. Love the wood fire smell and eating out in a healthier way.

Placed a phone order, 20 minutes later they called to say that we were outside the delivery area.... Really, they didnt know that when I called. We picked it up, and low and behold, got home with missing part of the food we ordered. Not impressed. Probably over Cowboy Chicken.

I meet one of the owners Brian in the parking lot due to me locking my keys in my car! Not only did he help me break into my car for over an hour, but he bought dinner for my cousin and I while we waited for a locksmith! Great food and great people! Thanks again.

Food was awesome. We got the one and a half chicken family meal and it was plenty for two adults and two children. The place was clean,service was quick,bathrooms clean and stocked and everyone was very polite and friendly. ☺

Delicious food at great prices! Prices compare to todays fast food options, but are infinitely better. Selection is somewhat limited, but everything I have tried has been wonderful. One of my new favorite places to eat.

Really good, its essentially like 5 guys burgers and fries except it has rotisserie chicken and a larger variety of foods. 5 star as this will become my go-to chicken place in Lincoln now. Prices are reasonable.

This place is just ok. The portions are very small a whole chicken is $19. Food was barely warm. Enchiladas are tiny. A side sweet potatoe is actually only half a sweet potatoe. Cobbler is mushy. Not a repeat

Chicken was so dry we could hardly swallow it. Rolls were hard as a rock. We went at 5pm Sunday April 10 and I think we got leftovers from the lunch hour. Staff was nice. We probably will not return.

Chicken, sides and enchiladas were all very good. Enchiladas were a tad salty but good. Onions would have been a great add on for the enchiladas also. Will definitely be back.
