My experience was so-so. Weve been twice for dinner. The food was quite good the first time but the second time it couldve been much better. The soup is excessively hot! I cant believe they serve it that hot and dont get sued. You have to wait ten or fifteen minutes just to taste it unless you want to burn off your tastebuds. Besides that, the soup was really spicy. We found this pretty inexplicable since it was clam chowder--Im not sure Ive ever had a spicy clam chowder. I didnt mind the fact that it WAS spicy, but HOW spicy. I couldnt eat it without constantly sipping my water and even my husband was breaking into a sweat with it. What the heck? I ordered the Outback special with "mushroom and lobster topping." What did I get? Lobster and GREEN ONION topping. I positively hate green onions and it was almost nothing BUT green onions. Definitely not worth the extra money as far as a lobster topping goes, and I could hardly eat it because of all the onions. I had carefully pick out and pile them onto one side of my plate and got whatever little liquid and lobster was left out of it to eat with my steak. And just so its clear, there wasnt a single mushroom on my plate so its not like they were just a little heavy-handed with the green onions in the mushroom sauce. Why would they decide to completely change a menu item like that? Im too much of a wimp to send a dish back so I just ate around it, but you can bet I wont be trying that trick again IF we go back at all. We might just stick with the Rib & Chop in Livingston if we want steak.

Having never been to an Outback, we (my girlfriend and I) decided to try this one. I got the Ribeye steak, and my girlfriend chose the 4 course meal option that they had. The soup was very good, albeit a bit spice-heavy, and my Ribeye was excellent, though a tad under what I had ordered. Our waiter came by shortly after we received our food and asked if everything was cooked "just right". I mentioned that my Ribeye was a tad rarer than I wanted, and he fixed it promptly; it came out perfectly. Additionally, it was completely re-plated when it came out, it was clear that the sides were re-made fresh. My girlfriend had the Chicken on the Barbie, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The cheesecake with raspberry sauce which we had after dinner was exceptional, and our waiter made sure to offer after dinner coffee or liqueurs, which I found was a nice touch. We never felt rushed or hurried at all throughout our meal, and with our bill, our waiter slipped in a card for a free appetizer, saying that he had genuinely enjoyed our company, and would love to see us again. If you go, keep in mind that they cook their steaks a bit rarer than some other restaurants, and make sure to ask if Grant is working that evening; he was courteous, efficient, and professional...hands-down one of the best waiters I have ever had. I look forward to returning!

I hardly ever write reviews, so this is worth a read. We went here as it sounded good and I hadnt been to one in 10 years. it was our Anniversary Dinner so we wanted a nice sit down place. It took atleast 10 minutes to get drinks, but the waitress was swamped. When we got our food (I ordered king crab) mine was ice cold, on a hot plate and the butter that came with was also cold and almost set up. So I sent it back and they cooked it some more for me and a manager brought it out. It felt hot this time. However the first piece I ate was cool in the center. Crab cold is very nasty. Though the rest of it was warm after that, but by no means hot. They did offer to take it back again but I didnt have anymore cold pieces so I declined because in my experience the more you reheat it the worse its Guna Taste. They gave us a free dessert for the trouble. The staff was very nice and apologetic. So I wasnt going to write a review because they were very good. However, after supper I didnt feel the best so just went straight to bed. I woke up about 1am with an awful pain in my stomach. I threw up all night and had to much pain in between to even relax. Even after my stomach was empty I continued to throw up. I would suspect this is not the usual dining experience but it was enough for me to not want to return.

Food was decent, as you would expect from an Outback Steakhouse. What bothered me was that we had crappy service so i only left a 5% tip. I checked my bank statement two days later to find that the waitress had added 20 dollars to her tip and crossed out the total only to write in a new total amount. After contacting the manager he refused to admit what had happened. Not only did i have to drive down to the restaurant to look at the ticket but he told me he didnt believe me! He simply refunded my 5% tip + the 20 the waitress stole. Since he "doesnt know me" he would not believe that she would do something like this. Nothing has or will be done to the waitress, but the manager said he will be on "red alert" for anymore instances. My question is how does a manager not take responsibility and do something about this fraudulent activity...He chose to taker her word over mine...so with that said i recommend ANYONE who eats here to check their bank account a couple days after because their is still employee/s working there who are completely unethical. This just blows my mind....

This was our third trip to this restaurant. Possibly the last. Our server was incredible and really the only thing good we can say about the visit. The shrimp for our appetizer was under cooked. We sent it back and received the SAME PEICE WHICH HAD BEEN BITTEN IN THE FIRST ORDER! WTF!? After we addressed that issue the steak was under cooked. When I brought that up to the manager she responded by telling me I didnt order it correctly. Sorry but raw meat should never be searved in a restaurant unless the customer specifically asks for it. We did get a nice desert out of the deal. But I would recomend you bypass this particular site. The food has been disappointing to say the least. If you do find it necessary to patronize the place ask for William L. He was excelent and did all he could to rectify a hopeless meal.

My family of 7 went to outback steak house for a birthday dinner. We waited for 20 minutes before we were seated. After we were seated the waitress came up and asked for our drink orders. She was rude and unprofessional. My dad reminded her three times to bring him a bud wiser before he was actually brought one. She checked on us twice from the time she got our drink orders to the time we left. I caught the waitress rolling her eyes at my fathers third request for his drink. The steak and lobster I got was not even mediocre. The lobster could not have weighed more than 2 ounces and my steak was charred on the outside. The bill came to 170$. A ridiculous price to pay for an experience I could have had at McDonalds. We will probably never go here again.
