I cant find any reason to come back. The prices for what you get in portion are okay. My wife and daughter have ate at Romas in Harrison, AR and love the place. They were, of course, excited to see Romas was going to be opening in town. We gave them a few weeks after opening to sort things out (training new employees, let the just opened crowd die off, etc). Then, we finally decide to go there. The window coverings from the previous restaurant are still there (Savor BBQ) so if you werent sure where you were going, you would be confused. I decided to order an appetizer for while we wait for the food - spinach artichoke dip. Once that arrives at the table. The dip is there, but there is nothing to dip in it. We had been eated on our garlic knot/breadstick things already. The waitress kindly offered to bring out more. I said that would be great. I guess I could have ate it with my spoon?! Perhaps, Im too American to understand that a person normally dips something in ... dip. The food arrives. I got a side salad. The dressings options were limited. The usuals: Ranch, Thousand Island, (no Italian), but they have a "house dressing(!). So I go for it. It looks odd. Doesnt taste like it looks. I know this is a review, and Im not helping yall out by saying this. It tastes odd too. Then I see the looks on my wife and daughters faces. They hate the food. They swapped plates. Still no better. They said the food tasted like it came out of a can. I had the minestrone, the soup base was good and the chicken in it was good. Nothing really that great, because the pasta that was in it was over cooked and kept sticking to the roof of my mouth. The owner or manger came to address our complaints. He said that he didnt understand because it was made the same way it has always been made. He said he will take it off this time, but he wont next time. I told him dont worry about it because if you say that is how it is supposed to taste, after we have had it multiple times in Harrison, then there wont be a next time here. He did remove the ravioli plate charge. The bill was still around $40 with each of us drinking water. Its been a couple months. Still no desire among our family to go back. I will say that I have a buddy that eats there and goes back. He usually orders plates with veal in it. Im not willing to go back. I frankly dont recommend this place if you are reading this. Sorry to the owners of you are reading this. I am glad that you opened a business in my town and are providing jobs to the community, but your future doesnt look like it will last much longer here.

Hey people iv been a server here for about 2 month, im not making this review to get attention or anything like that. But seriously you dont wat to eat here. The owner smokes & ashes his cigarettes in the floor of the kitchen. Roma has literally had people send food back because of ashes in their food. Yes, their food is good. Iv had it plenty of times but the way the restaurant is ran is a joke. The owner is constantly training new servers because of all the b.s that goes on. Hes somehow got 3 other romas up & running in Arkansas. But West Plains is better that what John (the owner/head chef has to offer.) Yes west plains needs a good italian restaurant but this place is seriously an accident waiting to happen. Are you going to be the person that it happens to?

Only one waiter, overworked but trying to maintain a nice demeanor. Bread just arrived similar to a pretzel soft and warm, but fluffier. Prices are decent. There are some flys detracting front the ambiance and it is on the warm side in here. The shrimp napoleon appetizer is amazing!! All three of us devoured it in seconds. Salad was mediocre, had some old pieces in it, granted we did come in at an odd time of day. I just removed the bad pieces and the rest was fine. I am enjoying the shrimp scampi, my husband likes his Roma Special and our son Brendon really likes the Spaghetti The Works, especially the mushrooms. All in I give this aan A- because the main course and the waiter were so good.

For a newly opened restaurant this place is falling apart. The booths are peeling, and the chairs are wobbly. Theres ample seating inside, and as long as you dont come on the weekend youll most likely be seated immediately. The table bread is good and the wait staff is friendly. The food is over priced, a bowl of soup was $7.95!! Three raviolis for $9.95. I requested light sauce on my chicken Parmesan and posted a picture below of what it looked like when I received it. They did bring me a bowl of plain noodles, but by that point I had cut into the chicken. The chicken was clearly a processed chicken patty (think Encore) that was reheated. Soup was delicious and worth coming back for.

The people were friendly enough, but we waited for over an hour. We sat over 20 minutes waiting for someone to come to our table. They were seating people that came in after us and bringing there food. We didnt get our food at the same time, they brought one plate and finally brought two more. It was a disaster. My food was cold and so not worth the wait. Dont normally do reviews but felt compelled to do so today. We wish them luck, but probably wont go back.

Faux hi-end and faux Italian. Very plane, very slow, and not all that great. Over half an hour waiting on our food to get plain cheese manicotti in marinara and grilled chicken in cream of spinach soup. Decent flavor but not enough to back up the wait. OK prices but still feels like its more then it was worth. Service really wasnt very good either.

Arrived 6 pm Monday March 20, 2017. It was crowded and I was afraid we would have a long wait. Was pleasantly surprised to be out of there by 645. Help was attentive. Bread is soooo good. Entree was cheese tortellini and it was good. Sauce very good. Entree was 10.95. Will return.

It is great having a new restaurant with authentic italian food. The Roma Special is my favorite dish full of flavor and amazing red sauce that is not common marinara. Service is wonderful. Yay - so excited that we are getting variety in West Plains. Go Romas!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE SERVICE WAS GOOD BUT THE BOOTH WAS SEATED IN WAS FALLING APART. THE FOOD WAS JUST OK. THE BREAD WE GOT WAS UNDER COOKED AND MUSHY. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. I HAD TOO HIGH OF EXPECTIONS I GUESS. AND ON TOP OF THAT IT WAS 48.00 FOR 2 PPL.

I went in, around noon, on July 7, 2017, perfectly fine and without ailments. I leave and spend the next day on the toilet with food poisoning. I had not eaten anything before that or after that. You can connect the dots.

Poor service, over priced and the food was so so. More than likely will not return here. I believe they show a lot of promise but they need to fix a few issues. This was not a good experience for us.
