Tonight was our final straw with eating here. We moved to OFallon a year ago and my husband and I were excited to find out there was a drive thru Mexican restaurant so close so we decided to give the drive thru a go. There was one other person in front of me when I got there, I ordered my food and then drove up. Sat in my car for 15 minutes waiting for the car ahead of me to get their food. Then when I got to the window the woman asked me what I ordered, she asked "the fajitas?" Which was entirely off from my order, I told her what I ordered and sat in my car for at least another 10 minutes before she came BACK to the window to go over what I ordered again! I wanted to just leave at this point but had already paid so stayed and waited, I was in the drive thru for a total of 40 minutes waiting on 2 entrees and queso dip... never have I EVER waited that long for a drive thru and didnt even get an apology. After that, I told my husband we will never be eating here again. Well, a few months later we decided to give them a second chance and go inside and see if the service was any better.. man, was I wrong! We got seated and asked for waters and queso dip.. we got our waters and 15 minutes later we are still waiting on the dip.. my husband gets the waitresses attention and asks him where the queso dip is and she goes "oh you want queso?" Even though we ordered it right when we got there.. finally got the queso and then ordered our food, finished and sat there and waited for our bill.. the waitress did not come and check on us once nor even notice that we had been long done with our food. Left, very unsatisfied and frustrated. Another few months go by and tonight I am craving Mexican food so I ask my husband if we can get it somewhere to go, last and FINAL time EVER eating at this place again!! And I mean it this time! I ordered the food over the phone and the girl on the phone says itll be ready in 10 to 15 minutes, its a 15 minute drive from our house, so my husband leaves right after I place the call. He returned home 45 minutes later.. said he got there after the 15 minute mark and he still had to wait and then 20 minutes of waiting a woman came back into the restaurant saying this wasnt her food and it ended up being ours.. this place needs some employees that actually know what they are doing.. save your time and just go to El maguey where the service is actually good and they know how to take care of their customers! P.s. the food is nothing special.. it is the exact same as el magueys..

Our visit was on a Friday evening at about 6:30 The weather was rainy. We were seated immediately. The menu had many choices. The prices were reasonable. My husband is a big eater and he left the table full. The atmosphere is fun and friendly while not being tacky. We had 4 adults and one child. We all ordered meals, and appetizer and 5 deserts. (The Flan - a first time treat for me- was out of this world). With all that and our beverages we paid less than $75.00. That did not include our tip. The wait staff does not speak English very well but they were good at their jobs. Compared to other Mexican restaurants, I felt this was reasonable and SOOOOO much better tasting. Oh when we left...there was a line of people waiting to get in. We will revisit this place next time we come back to St. Louis.

Enjoy the restaurant. The pricing and quality of food are good. I only gave it 4 stars because the drive up window is run very poorly and they try to run it like a fast food restaurant. There are other strategies for that. I called ahead for service and still had to wait 20 minutes for my order because the car ahead of me got to just sit and wait for their food to be cooked and blocked out the other 5 of us who had called ahead. They should ask those patrons who order on site to kindly pull to the side and then take their order to them, I actually saw people get out of line and enter the restaurant, get their food, and leave before the first car was served.

They food is the best mexican food I have ever eaten. Me and my family go there at least once a week and the workers and manager are very friendly. The food comes at very fast it is almost as fast as waiting in a drive thru. I always get the beef burrito and it has phenaminal beef in it and man that red sauce is the best red sauce i have ever eatin in my life i think it is the best thing on the menu. If you want something big snd delicous(thats what she said) get the burrito el mezon it has beef, steak, chick, pork, and shrimp in it with peppers and onions and with caso on top. The food is fast, delicious, and very cheap for what you get.

Eric says No pork tamales? Salsa & queso are the best in this area. The smallest chimichanga Ive ever seen & the beef didnt please my taste buds. The chicken in my taco ... Holy moly. It was the bomb. Ill be ordering a chicken chimichanga when I return. 2nd trip in the same week...CHORIZO TACOS MEXICANOS...Definitely recommend! David says the enchiladas & tamales covered in mole sauce are the best Ive ever had.

Food is good for St. Peters. My wife and I are spoiled living a few minutes from Cherokee Steet in STL where we can get some real Mexican food. I work 5 minutes from here so its good for a quick and cheap lunch when you arent especially picky. The one time I got actual authentic from El Mezon (tongue tacos) they were bland, dry, and rubbery. Their Boritto Mezon is huge and I like the seafood they put in it.

Busy night on May 5th, which was to be expected; however, my wife and I sat around for an hour waiting for the food to come out after it had been ordered. Other people who ordered after us were served prior to us. They forgot to put or order in and let us sit around for an hour. I would avoid this restaurant; at least if it is busy.

Food is great! However, service has gone downhill. A few visits ago I wouldve rated it 5 stars, but after the last visit where we got a dish that was served lukewarm and then were forgotten about. Empty water glasses, no bill, etc. Time for management to figure out how to get back a couple of stars...

I LOVE this place. The staff are all super friendly and helpful and the food is great! They will make any adjustments to the menu that you want, and the servings are pretty big. The prices are very reasonable! They have happy hour until 6 pm with half price drinks. I highly recommend it!

Love it! Definitely worth the stop. Great food, great service and atmosphere. Prices match portion size. Even though they were slammed busy, our food was out in a timely manner. We were asked 3 times by 3 different servers " how is everything? ". We will definitely be back!
