This little mexican restaurant is great! Really doesnt get as much attention as it should, especially considering how close it is to the Roshek Building/IBM. To start, they make fantastic salsas - in addition to the classic red that comes with the chips they serve, they also offer a variety of others like Green Tomatillo and Chipotle. Im also a fan of their Mole sauce that comes on some of their food. For lunch fare, one of my favorite things are their burritos - They have a few different kinds and theyre all good sized and come standard with tasty queso sauce on top. They also offer a pretty cheap lunch special every day with a nice punch card that gets you one free with every 4 you buy. Usually standard stuff like burritos/quesadillas in a daily rotation, served with rice+beans. Smaller than ordering off the normal menu, but definitely enough for lunch especially with the basket of chips+salsa. Something that I just tried today are their "Ranchero" tacos. These are a-la-cart off the little free-standing menu on every table, and come in a variety of types (Try the Chorizo!). Theyre a little different than standard American tacos and consist only of meat, grilled onion, cilantro, and a wedge of lime for squeezing, all on a corn tortilla. Dont worry; you wont miss all the heavy cheese/beans that you find on normal tacos. Theyre also only $1.75: Order 3 or 4 of these and its a meal. Make sure to try some of their salsa varieties with them - their green tomatillo is great on these tacos. Give this place a try!

I have to start by saying that the service was not very good and also the food was not very authentic and had very little flavor to what Mexican cuisine should have and I also have to say the portions are extremely extremely small for what most Mexican restaurants have to offer in our area its overpriced overrated and I hope that they make some changes soon I took my family there for dinner it was nothing but a big disappointment .

Went there because of the reviews and got very disappointed! At first I thought wow is like chipotle then when I tasted the food it was like cheap mexican food, the rice was sticky, the steak was bad no flavor dry and over steam! The lettuce was old not fresh at all and in top of that they charge like chipotle!

This is my favorite place to eat in Dubuque. Its better than any other burrito bar joint Ive ever been to, and its about 3 dollars less. The people who run it are cheerful and the atmosphere is welcoming. I love it when the owner makes my burrito, because he loads on the meat. ;)

This place is way better than Chipotle, Pancheros, and Qdoba. Stop comparing it to all those gross fast food burrito chains. Most ingredients, produce and meat are a local and fresh from Dubuque, Iowa. Adobos has the best Mexican food in 100 mile radius.

Coming from Texas I have to say this is the best authentic Mexican food in Dubuque. Everything Ive had has been excellent. The new Burrito bar at lunch is very good. They also make excellent breakfast burritos at the farmers market on Saturday!!

food quality is good bit portions are never the same size. they charge extra for a tortia when you get a burrito bowl with a tortia on the side. this use to be my favorite place but has gone down hill alot.

One of the quickest places that serves good food. Price is reasonable and have a loyalty program so every 6th meal is free. Also serve at the Farmers Market and will cater to local businesses.
